… but the ‘other’ (Guy) has a history of domestic abuse. Save us all from men like Chick and Guy. I think, in her own, immature and ‘guilt-laden’ perspective, Joan was counting on Pascal…

I agree with you. Look at the recent history. Her husband died and within MONTHS Joan was in relationship with Bachelor Nation… seeking a spot on a show. She is, however, freaked out, guilty and in-over-her-head. I’m an ‘older woman’,and see it all over her. Her body language; shoulders hunched, hands clasped in front of her cleavage. Her rapid, anxious speech… her inability to hold an eye-to-eye conversation with any of the men. She’s too young in her grieving. The whole thing is a mess, and Pascal was a fresh breeze with his honesty, clarity and morality.

Pascal is a hero. He saw the flighty-fliipy-flummoxed Joan for who she is and broke free by discovering his own truth. Grab a calendar - do the math. That poor woman ed the Bachelor Nation crowd NONTHS after her husband of over thirty years died. No wonder she feels conflicted and ‘guilty.’ Crimeny. If she MARRIES one of the two remaining, it will be the biggest mistake of her life. Pascal is - and truly WAS - ‘in it’ for love. The Bachelor Nation ‘happy ever after’ track record tells the true story. My wish for Joan? Enjoy the exotic places. Appreciate the hootch and food. Take the money, honey.. and run. That’s what The Gioden Bachelor and his fake wife did. Pascal’s soul is not for sale. He’s a hero.
