Agree. They refer to finding the identifying the ominous/foreboding number combinations (can’t the exact term used) and I think that’s identifying and isolating the traumatic experience in the brain and sending it to the box/trash so the outie/customer doesn’t have to deal with it. Since the brain/psyche is so complex it can’t be based on a specific location (you don’t know where that will reside in the brain) and would be like locating a needle in a haystack, so has to be based on identifying it with “dread feeling” to bin it.
