And considering Star Trek 2,3,4, and 5 happen consecutively, I'd say there 11 years between 5 and 6.

I didn't like the idea of Lithgow being cast as Dumbledore mainly because he's really old. If the show was supposed to go 7-10 years I'd be surprised if he made it that long. If they cast Essiedu as Snape I won't have to worry about the series going that long. To be honest, I would rather have Essiedu as Dumbledore than Snape.
