The final season debuted on the 10th anniversary of the franchise's premiere and has already been an "explosive season" by Kathryn Busby, president of programming for Starz. The announcement comes as fellow spinoffs Raising Kanan and Force continue to film their next seasons.

Starz announced that it was ending both Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book IV: Force, the latter with its third season.
