Being one of the most notable Pokémon and arguably Pokémon's primary mascot, Pikachu is the face of a large amount of new merchandise every year, including plush lineups. One of the recently popular lines, Cosplay Pokémon, showcases Pikachu showing off various adorable costumes that first made their appearance in the Gen 6 games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
While a lot of these plush releases are not only exclusive, they tend to sell out quickly. A notable example is 2024's Heartwarming Christmas Pikachu, which was arguably the cutest Pikachu plush released to date and was sold out almost immediately. That being said, The Pokémon Center has no shortage of new Pikachu plushes to choose from at any given time.
10 Rock Star Pikachu Is A Legend
9" Plush For $29.99
One of the options for the new Cosplay Pokémon lineup is a 9 1/4" Pikachu sporting the Rock Star aesthetic based on the legendary Cosplay design from Gen 6. While this Poke Plush isn't as cute as some others, it is a unique look for Pikachu that may feel nostalgic for those who caught this variation in-game. Furthermore, it's rarer for the Pokémon plushes not to be seasonal or holiday-specific, making this one an exception that can be proudly displayed all year.

Adorable Pikachu Plush Gives Fans The Business As Pikachu Fills In For Its Irresponsible Owner
The Pokemon Center's new Pikachu Celebrations plush is ready to step in for their sleepy trainer, dres in business attire as an intern.
One specific detail to note as well, since it can be an important factor for some collectors and may throw off those who didn't play through Gen 6, is that this Pikachu plush features the female Cosplay Pikachu design. This means that it has a black, rounded, heart-tip-shaped tail rather than the traditional design, something that was unique in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
9 Frightfully Festive Pikachu Is A Perfect Fall Reminder
Spooky Festival Pikachu 8 3/4" Plush For $24.99
There's no denying that Halloween Pokémon Plushes and items are among the most popular Pokémon Plushes, but not everyone is looking for something so on-the-nose for the holiday season, which is why this Fall Pikachu plush is perfect. While it does emanate some spooky seasonal energy, it definitely has a more overall Fall aesthetic, making it more likely to stay up year-round as a reminder of the season instead of just up as decor for the holidays.
Perhaps the biggest downside of a plush like this is the inability to remove the outfits and customize them, such as removing the hat. However, that's just perhaps another reason why Pokémon offers so many options: collectors can still have a large variety of Pikachu without having to customize them.
8 Birthday Pikachu Makes Every Day A Celebration
Birthday Celebration Pikachu 9" Plush For $29.99
Birthday Pikachu is a classic design featured on various merchandise, from plushes to figures and even official Pokémon Cards. In this variant of the Birthday Pikachu, Pikachu is depicted holding a small Poké Ball like present while wearing a fun party hat. However, despite its popularity and constant availability in The Pokémon Center, many fans never bother to grab this iconic plush simply because it seems as though it's something reserved for Birthdays.
While it is intended for Birthday celebrations, this design is also a collector's item and something every Pikachu fan should own, whether it's their birthday or not. Not to mention, there's nothing distinctively stating on the plush that it's exclusively for a birthday, so the party hat and gift it holds can be used to celebrate any special occasion.
7 Pikachu & Eevee Are Even Sweeter Together
Seasonal Celebrations: Pikachu & Eevee 7 1/4" Plush For $37.99
The only thing better than one Pokémon is two, and that's exactly what you get with the Seasonal Celebrations Pikachu and Eevee Plush. This plush features both of them nestled in a pink rose basket holding a heart, and while the pair aren't removable from their basket or each other, it doesn't detract from the overall cuteness of this plush either.

After 20 Years, Let's it It: Pikachu Was Never Ash's Best Pokémon
Ash's relationship with Pikachu is legendary, but as far as characterization of a Pokémon goes, there's an easy winner that beats the electric mouse.
While it was initially intended as more of a Valentine's design, nothing about this plush explicitly screams Valentine's Day, so it's perfect for any lovely celebration, like an anniversary, a partner's birthday, or even just to spread a little love for no particular reason. The only downside, however, is that it's on the smaller side compared to some of the other plushes while also being a bit more expensive.
6 The Pikachu Sitting Cutie Is A Classic Pikachu
Pikachu Sitting Cutie 5 1/4" Plush For $16.99
The Sitting Cuties Plushies lineup is a staple for Pokémon Plush collectors as it is one of the rare collections that features every single Pokémon. While not every generation has been released yet, many Pokémon fans have made it a point to collect all their favorites or even the entire line. That being said, while this is a must for those collectors, the Pikachu sitting cutie is an excellent option for everyone.

35 Cutest Pokémon Of All Time
Pokémon is filled with incredibly charming creatures, but some scary much more visual appeal than others. There's a reason some Pokémon are so iconic!
It features the classic Pikachu design without any props or costumes and is also the perfect size for a desk companion. It's smaller than most plushes featured on the website and intended for display instead of being a cuddle plush, especially since the entire Sitting Cutie's line is intended to sit up on its own. To put the cherry on top of an already great plush, the Pikachu sitting cutie is one of the cheapest Pikachu plushes you can get from The Pokémon Center.
5 Happy Spring Pikachu Is Perfect For Cuddles
Happy Spring Pikachu (2024) 7 3/4" Plush For $29.99
While this Pikachu was very obviously designed for the 2024 Easter holiday, it's surprising that it's still in stock a year later, considering how adorable it is and the material it's made of. This Pikachu features a soft, fleece embroidered design instead of being made of the traditional cotton and polyester materials used for most plushes on The Pokémon Center site.
Not only does this make it softer and preferable for a cuddle plush, but it also gives it a fluffier appearance, similar to the one on the Heartwarming Christmas Pikachu, making it even cuter than it would have been. This, in addition to this plush's softer pastel yellow color, makes it one of the cutest available ones on the site, with the only downside being the obvious holiday association.
4 A Pikachu Plush That Doubles Like A Pillow
Pikachu Comfy Friends 15 1/2" Plush For $39.99
The only thing better than a cute Pokémon plush you can cuddle with is one that you can lay on as a pillow, and not only does this plush serve that purpose, but it looks adorable doing it. Comfy Pikachu is intentionally made with softer, fluffier material and designed in a flat, lying down position, which makes it great for relaxing as opposed to being displayed on a shelf.
The only downside to the Comy Friend Plushie is that it isn't meant to conveniently reside anywhere other than a resting place like a chair, couch, or bed.
This is because the size makes it too large to fit in the depth of most shelves or fit comfortably on a desk. There is a smaller and similar alternative, the Relaxing Pikachu plush, which features Pikachu's eyes closed, giving it more of a sleeping appearance while still keeping the same lying down pose and a similar soft feel, but it's not nearly as cute.
3 Professor Pikachu Stands Out Among The Rest
Cosplay Pikachu, Ph.D. 10 1/2" Plush For $29.99
Going back to the Cosplay Pikachu lineup, another major standout is Professor Pikachu, Ph.D., the leading Pokémon scientist. As another reference to the Cosplay Pikachu design in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, this Cosplay Pikachu also features the female Pikachu tail design with a black-tip heart.

Mewtwo Is One of the World's Strongest Pokémon, And It's All Because of Daddy Issues
Mewtwo's birthday is February 6, making it a good time to reflect on the powerful Pokémon's origins and how his issues with his creation affected him.
While it's a bit more quirky than other Pikachu Plush designs in The Pokémon Center, it also features some of the most detail. Pikachu, Ph.D., is equipped with a lab coat, notebooks, glasses, braids, a graduation cap, and other smarty-pants essentials.
2 ive Pikachu Is Cute & Comforting
Pikachu & Pichu Sweet 7" Plush For $29.99
The Sweet lineup of plushes features several Pokémon with their pre-evolution, or baby evolution, that need comfort. This one, in particular, features a crying Pichu being comforted by a joyful Pikachu. Not only is the concept of this plush adorable, but it is yet another that features a fluffier texture, making it look and feel even more cozy and comforting.
Furthermore, while you can't separate Pikachu and Pichu completely, they share a small string that, when pulled apart, will slowly pull them back together as though Pichu is running back into Pikachu's comforting hug. Considering this plush gives two adorable and cuddly Pokémon for the price of one, and they share a cute feature, the reasonable price point makes this plush even better.
1 Pop Star Pikachu Takes Center Stage
Cosplay Pop Star Pikachu 9" Plush For $29.99
Pop Star Pikachu is another from the Cosplay Pikachu lineup. It is by far one of the cutest Pikachu Plushes and, shockingly, is still available at the moment. Aside from its nostalgic reference to the Gen 6 Pokémon games, Pop Star Pikachu is designed purely to maximize its cuteness. The frilly dress, shoes, and bow complete an adorable aesthetic that feels further complete with the iconic black-tipped heart tail design.
Additionally, this is one of the few Pikachu plushes that features Kawaii eyes and lashes to amplify the cuter features of this Pokémon. Perhaps the only thing that could sur this specific Pop Star Pikachu look would be a plush-inspired collaboration with Hatsune Miku, which isn't entirely unlikely given the Project Voltage collaboration. Regardless, Pop Star Pikachu is one everyone should grab before it's gone.
