I think the surprise sale from Sony is a smart idea. Giving big discounts on new and popular games for PlayStation Plus subscribers is a great way to reward those who stick with the service and encourage others to sign up. It’s especially appealing that several highly rated and recently released games are part of the sale. I'm interested in seeing if Sony will open the sale outside of PlayStation Plus, as some fans have theorized.

Either way, the surprise sale is a great chance for PlayStation Plus subscribers and anyone considering g up for the service to get their hands on a few interesting titles. Since it’s only available for a short time and includes many popular games, this will likely inflate the number of subscribers before the year is over, but of course, there is no guarantee of that.
