Angel is one of the strongest builds in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, which is fitting because the plot is sort of built around the good guys and girls fighting evil. If you're the type to enjoy smiting down your foes with holy weapons in melee, you're in the right place.
Builds in Pathfinder: WoTR are quite complex as far as CRPGs go, so having a full list of skills, feats, spells, and so on to take makes the ride a lot smoother. Not everyone has the time to learn the intricacies of a deep system like this, after all. Or, even if you do, you may not feel entirely confident in your choices. Either way, we're here to help.

Angel Build Guide & How To Play It
For class, take Paladin (Tortured Crusader). This will require the Lord of Nothing DLC, but as with every Pathfinder: WoTR DLC, it's superb, so it's well worth it regardless. Crusader offers many unique features, but the most notable are Torment, which uses Wisdom for your spellcasting score, and All is Darkness, which adds +4 bonus to attacks rolls and +4 deflection bonus to AC for your smite target.
For race, you'll take Human. That's no big surprise, as the extra feat is tough to match. Background as usual doesn't matter much, but Street Urchin (Pickpocket) is welcome for the initiative, or Regional (Mendevian Orphan) for the extra saves. The latter is appreciated given the lack of Divine Grace here.
This build is suitable for Unfair difficulty, although if ranked, it's A or B tier. Either way, if playing it correctly below Unfair, you should have an even better time.
As for ability points/stats, go with 19 -> 32 STR, 12 -> 20 DEX, 10 -> 18 CON, 8 INT, 16 -> 22 WIS, 12 CHA. Strength and Wisdom are favored here, of course, due to the aforementioned Tormented Crusader abilities. The 12 CHA is surprising until you Bestow Grace — which grants saving throw bonus to a good creature dependent on your CHA — exists. Naturally, you'll buff CHA in other ways later, but this is a respectable baseline.
Skill points, meanwhile, are partly down to what the rest of your party is rocking, but as a baseline, invest equally into Athletics, Lore (Religion), and Perception, and eventually, go half investment on Religion and dabble in Use Magic Device for a well-balanced character. (Final result should be something like 20 Atheletics, 10 Religion, 20 Perception, 20 Use Magic Device.) Deity doesn't matter much, but Sarenrae works great if in doubt.

How To Add Custom Portraits To Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous
Custom portraits are a great way to breathe life into Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. You can add art that fits your specific hero’s journey.
This build — by waitwaitwaitwaitamin — is DPS-oriented, so you'll want someone else to do the tanking. This is due to the Alone in the Dark Tortured Crusader ability, which allows for more uses of smite, and buffs her damage heavily for each fallen party member. Final Justice pushes the Tortured Crusader even farther into damage, allowing her to trade smites for double damage. The build is also melee-focused, so make sure you like getting up close before putting time into it.

Best Spells (Leveling Guide)
Challenge Evil is an optional spell, here. Due to the lack of a sacred bonus to attack, it can be useful (instead of another Bless Weapon slot). Bestow Grace, as mentioned, buffs saving throws of good creatures, so naturally you'll want Good-aligned party to pair with this Angel build (at least some). Energy damage is common, so Resist Energy is a natural choice.
