One-Punch Man season 3 is rapidly approaching, due out in October 2025. Consequently, it's time that fans met some of the villains that Saitama and the others will be facing this season, and one of the first featured is also one of the most horrific of all.
One-Punch Man season 3 is going to adapt the Monster Association arc, a long-running arc in the manga that is considered by many fans to be the peak of the series (so far). The Monster Association is an organization of monsters, of course, who have come together to stand against the humans' Hero Association. The Monster Association is made up of hundreds of smaller monsters, but the real ones to know about are the organization's Executives, sometimes referred to by fans as the "cadre." J.C. Staff, the studio behind the anime, is now introducing these Executives to fans.
The Monster Association's Most Terrifying Monster Will Surprise You
The Monster Association's Executives Are Unconventional
As part of a project introducing the monsters of season 3, J.C. Staff shared two new images of monsters on the official One-Punch Man anime X (formerly Twitter) . The two featured monsters are Gums, one of the aforementioned executives, and Evil Mineral Water, a monster so dangerous that even the other monsters felt the need to lock it up. Gums is pretty terrifying on its own, being essentially a walking mouth that can and will eat anything it comes across. But the true horror here is Evil Mineral Water, as silly as it may sound.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Just Shared a Major Release Update Ahead of Its Launch
One-Punch Man season 3 has found its English distributor in a new update just a few months ahead of the new season's premiere.
Evil Mineral Water is a sentient puddle of water that can contaminate other sources of water, absorbing them into itself. That makes Evil Mineral Water extremely dangerous--just imagine what it could do if it came into with the ocean, for example. As a being of water, it's nearly impossible to attack, as its fluidic body resists damage, making it immune to most weapons and physical attacks. Evil Mineral Water uses the particularly awful method of drowning to take out many of its opponents, and is capable of firing high-speed jets of water that can pierce steel.
Evil Mineral Water Could Pose a Big Threat to Saitama
The Sentient Pool of Water is Extremely Dangerous
Given that Saitama mainly deals with enemies by punching them, an organism that's completely made of water will be extremely tough for Saitama to deal with. There's also the aforementioned threat of drowning as well, which Saitama doesn't really have any (known) defense against. It will certainly be interesting to see how Saitama handles such a challenge, and may force him to escalate to levels of power that have previously only been hinted at.
All this goes to show that the Monster Association is no joke, and the cooperation between monsters at this extraordinary level of power could be an extinction-level threat to humanity. Even Saitama likely wouldn't be able to handle everything alone, so it's a good thing that he doesn't have to. There's not too much longer to wait for One-Punch Man season 3, when fans can look forward to seeing these monsters in action.
