game's quirks have been preserved in the remaster, and the nostalgia has been enjoyable for fans, but one issue needed to be addressed.
According to the patch notes posted by Bethesda, there has been a fix for not automatically showing the local map when inside interior spaces. Previously, the game would often pull up the overworld map or the city map instead of pulling up the map for interior areas, like when exploring the inside of the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary or exploring caves or ruins, which made exploration harder than it needed to be. With this update, players should have an easier time exploring the game. The update is scheduled for June 11.
Oblivion Remastered Fixes The Local Map Problem
A Problem That Needed To Be Addressed
The game's intact bugs, funny glitches, and general strangeness at times are nice nostalgia trips and can be great for a laugh, but the local map not being readily accessible was a problem for many people. The game has quite a few interior areas, some of which have hidden doors, levers, NPCs to talk to, and confusing pathways, so not being able to access a local map initially was a hindrance to exploration. Oblivion Remastered has a huge map full of interior spaces, so this new update should make life easier for players, since it'll default to the interior map from the get-go.

5 Ways Horses In Oblivion Remastered Are Way Better Than In RDR2
There are vast differences between the horses in Oblivion Remastered versus RDR2, and combined, they make one game's horse better than the other.
There may be some contention about this fix for hardcore Oblivion fans who enjoyed the challenge of the local map not being usable at times or being forced to change map types, but this update will make the exploration more inclusive for casual players. And Oblivion veterans can just choose not to use the map inside local spaces if it bothers them, so this fix is a win for everyone.
