There are a number of tracks that repeatedly show up in the Mario Kart franchise, and with rumors of Mario Kart 9 surfacing, there are still a number of tracks that haven't made an appearance for a while. Mario Kart 8 revamped many classic tracks from previous games, especially in the Deluxe Booster Course , where many tracks from Mario Kart Tour made an appearance. With the Deluxe bringing in many classic and loved tracks, there are still many tracks that are due to make a comeback.

With classic tracks such as Moonview Highway, Coconut Mall, Mushroom Gorge, Rainbow Road, and many more coming back in Mario Kart 8, many famous tracks have been left out. Although there are many new features Mario Kart 9 should introduce, it would be great to see some older tracks making a comeback. The Deluxe has many Tour tracks, so Nintendo should use Mario Kart 9 to create new and unique tracks and bring some of the classics back.

10 Toads Factory - Where Item Boxes Are Made

With a great soundtrack, mud to avoid, a variety of jumps, conveyor belts that alternate sides, and extra items to collect, Toad's Factory is due to make a comeback soon. Toad's Factory is the final course of the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart Wii, and it is the factory where the item boxes are made in the game. The track offers lots of opportunities to get extra speed boosts and item boxes and is known as a classic among fans.

9 Delfino Square - Super Mario Sunshine's Square

Delfino Square is the second course in The Flower Cup in Mario Kart DS and reappears in Mario Kart Wii as the third course in the Banana Cup. The track is inspired by Delfino Plaza, which appeared in Super Mario Sunshine. Apart from some great shortcuts, one of this track's best elements is the bridge players drive on and can get a speed boost from. The level of the bridge changes throughout the race, but catching it while it is up can grant players some extra speed, too.

8 Luigi's Mansion - Spooky And Nostalgic

The Luigi's Mansion track, inspired by the Luigi's Mansion game, is the final track in the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart DS and reappears as the final track of the Shell Cup in Mario Kart 7. It also reappears in Mario Kart Tour. With eerie music, walking trees, and mud to slow racers down, this track is great for fans of the Luigi's Mansion games and anything spooky. Although similar to the Twisted Mansion and Boo Lake tracks in Mario Kart 8, this track would make a great comeback for fans of the original Mario Kart tracks and Luigi's Mansion.

7 Airship Fortress - Drive On The Iconic Bowser Airship

Shooting racers out of a Pipe Canon through the air, all while dodging Bullet Bills and Rocky Wrenches, Airship Fortress has a little bit of everything. The course takes place on an airship and on a floating fortress, inspired by the boss levels in Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3. Airship Fortress is the final course in the Star Cup in Mario Kart DS.

6 Dino Dino Jungle - Prehistoric Fun With A DK Mountain Feel

Featured In: Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart Tour

Set in a prehistoric, leafy jungle - Dino Dino Jungle is the second track in the Special Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! However, it also makes an appearance in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour. Dino Dino Jungle shares its music with the DK Mountain track, due to the Donkey Kong Jr stage music arrangement. With dinosaurs roaming the track and a large Noshi to avoid, this track would be a great option to get remade in the next Mario Kart game.

5 DK's Jungle Parkway - For More DK-Themed Tracks

DK's Jungle Parkway (also known as Donkey Kong Jungle or Donkey Jungle Park) is the first race in Mario Kart 64 Special Cup and known as Donkey Kong's home track, or the third track in Mario Kart Wii Leaf Cup. After a slight turn at the start, there is a large Dash that shoots racers across a river. With tight turns and a bridge to cross, this track will work well with some of the other Donkey Kong-themed tracks available, such as DK Jungle and DK Mountain.

4 Yoshi Falls - A Classic Among Yoshi Fans

Although a short and simple Mario Kart track, it is still a classic among fans. With three waterfalls, two of which can be driven through, and some Dash 's to get a speed boost, this track is still worth getting remade. If players do not have enough speed when driving through a waterfall, the water will whisk racers away into the lake, losing speed and needing to be pulled back up by Lakitu.

3 Wuhu Loop - For Fans Of Wii Sports Resort

Featured In: Mario Kart 7

Wuhu Loop (also known as Wuhu Island Loop) is the first course in the Flower Cup in Mario Kart 7. The course is based off Wuhu Island from Wii Sports Resort. The course is very long, so it is spread into three sections, rather than three separate laps. Most Mario Kart tracks have Toad's or Shy Guy's cheering racers on, however this track has a variety of Mii's cheering. Having Wuhu Loop remade would be a sweet testimony to the Wii and games like Wii Sports Resort.

2 Maka Wuhu - To Go Alongside Wuhu Loop

Featured In: Mario Kart 7

The Maka Wuhu track is a large 3 section course in Mario Kart 7 in the Star Cup. The track is similar to Wuhu Loop, but has more uphill slopes and takes place in the evening. There is a famous Mario Kart shortcut glitch that allows racers to skip nearly the whole of the second lap. By dropping into the lake by the entrance of the cave using a Mushroom or Super Star, players can respawn near the castle, which is at the end of the second lap. It would be great to see this track remade... without the glitch.

1 SNES Ghost Valley - A Classic Spooky Track

SNES Ghost Valley is a spooky Mario Kart track. Although small and simple, it offers a boost at the end, as well as item boxes spinning and some tricky turns. Possibly the best part of the track is hitting the walls, as when racers hit the sides, the side they hit will fall off, leaving an open gap. This makes the track harder as the more often players bump into the sides, the more gaps that will be left, increasing the chance of falling off. If the Boo's floating around weren't scary enough, the risk of losing the walls is.
