Wes Ogsbury made waves after entering the villa on Love Island USA season 3, and the fans are curious to learn more about his college football career at Harvard. There were already quite a few college athletes residing in the Love Island USA villa this year. During his college baseball career, Josh Goldstein played for the New Hampshire University Penmen and the New Bedford Bay Sox. Meanwhile, as a college football player, Cinco a.k.a. Melvin Holland Jr played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

Love Island always keeps things fresh by adding new islanders into the villa as a season goes on, and new boys Wes Ogsbury and Slade Parker were brought in during episode 9. Aside from his undeniable good looks, Wes made a great first impression with the girls upon announcing that he used to be a football player as a student at Harvard. In fact, Wes was the captain of the Harvard football team. Wes didn't personally brag too much about it, but the show made sure that the fans didn't forget about his years over at Harvard.

Now that Wes Ogsbury is immersed in Love Island USA drama, the fans want to learn about his time playing football at Harvard. According to the official Harvard Crimson website, Wes mostly played as a defensive back for the team, but he also played as a wide receiver for some time. Wes played for the Harvard Crimson for four years, and he became the captain of the team in 2019. The website describes Wes as being 5'11" and 185 pounds, but this is outdated information from 2019. On Instagram, Wes has shared many pictures of himself playing for the Harvard Crimson and showing his pride for the team.

In November 2019, Wes Ogsbury went viral for showing for a climate change protest that delayed a football game between Harvard and Yale (via Heavy). The protestors reportedly refused to leave the field for 50 minutes, which led to many of them getting arrested by the police. As seen below, Wes shared a video standing behind the protest despite the fact that it delayed their game against Yale. Given that this statement came from the captain of the Harvard Crimson team, Wes went viral for speaking out and showing for the protestors.

The Love Island girls are showing a lot of interest in Wes. In turn, it's still too early for the fans to know which girl Wes will end up with. There are quite a few weeks still to go on the show, and don't forget that Casa Amor is coming soon, too!
