If Jeremiah didn't explicitly tell her he wasn't interested or that he was closed off, which he didn't in the moment, Amaya was open to make the call to try getting to know him. Her decision to approach Huda respectfully was one of the better moments of communication Love Island USA has seen thus far this season, and knowing Amaya is simply hoping to be honest about her intentions proves she's not looking for drama. Instead, Huda's reaction makes it clear she's the potential issue.

She's Already A Fantastic Bombshell
As a Bombshell, Amaya's role is to disrupt the status quo of the villa. Doing so by any means would be acceptable, but seeing Amaya be a mature adult about wanting to pursue a man who's already got a connection in the villa was great. Her display of adult communication was exciting for Love Island USA, and though Huda wasn't happy about it, Amaya's respectful communication wasn't wrong. Though this could spell drama for the entire cast of Love Island USA season 7, Amaya choosing to open up about her intentions was the best possible move, regardless of Huda's feelings.
