Eponine's overall story is an incredibly emotional one as she spends her time loving someone who will never feel the same way back. However, throughout the entire movie, she proves herself to be unbelievably loyal to Marius, never letting him down no matter what the situation is.
Loyalty is something that a Cancer often is and on top of that, they are also very caring and sensitive individuals, both of which suit Eponine and her character. She's emotionally charged and that is shown throughout her individual journey in the film beautifully.

Javert is the main villain of the movie and someone who will stop at nothing in order to complete his task. That all comes through his ion for the job, and that is why he is a Leo.
