During the Gamescom 2020 Opening Night Live event, a new gameplay trailer was shown for LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga and the game looks as gorgeous as it does humorous. While fans may be bummed that LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga's release has been delayed until 2021, the beautiful visuals and excellent voice acting proves the game is worth the wait.
LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga was announced in December of 2019, and was slated to launch this year, 2020, in October. However, a recent leak revealed that the latest installment in the Star Wars films.
A new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga was shown today during the Gamescom ONL event that featured breathtaking visuals, chuckle-worthy punchlines, and gameplay from all nine episodes. The trailer also revealed that cutscenes from the game are actually voice acted unlike previous titles in the series. To everyone's surprise, LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga takes the LEGO video game franchise to a new level. While the game does feature its fair share of goofs and gaffes, it takes itself seriously in of beautiful environments and believable dialogue.
Studio Head of TT Games Micahel Denny states, "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a celebration of the heritage and future of LEGO Star Wars games." This ohmage to LEGO Star Wars titles allows players to take control of the lego iterations of hundreds of characters and vehicles from the Star Wars franchise. Players are not restricted by the storyline in any way as they can pick which Star Wars episode they wish to start with and can play them in any order.
Whether the player hasn't touched a LEGO game in years or has played every title, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga looks to be a game everyone can enjoy. The ion behind the creation of LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga can clearly be seen through its surprisingly fantastic graphics and the way it rebuilds stories already told through numerous mediums.
