Hollow Knight casts players as the Knight, a nameless insectoid warrior who seeks to explore the underground world of Hallownest and discover its secrets. The innovative indie game combines aspects of the soulslike and Metroidvania genres, with players accessing new areas by gaining abilities and fighting to regain their lost currency upon death. The sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong is set to take players on a brand-new adventure, with the first game's ing character Hornet assuming the role of protagonist. Previous glimpses at the game have hinted at Hollow Knight: Silksong gameplay changes, with combat and traversal being noticeably improved.
Reddit Badger_Kindly recently revealed a masterful cosplay that turns the nameless protagonist of Hollow Knight into a fantasy warrior inspired by Dark Souls. The extremely impressive cosplay reinterprets the cartoonish Knight into an intimidating warrior with bony exoskeleton armor and a disturbing horned helmet. The Nail, which serves as the Knight's weapon throughout Hollow Knight, is also brought to life and wielded by Badger_Kindly. The cosplay's armored carapace looks worn and weathered, making this insectoid fighter fit right into the apocalyptic fantasy world of Dark Souls or a more realistic version of Hollow Knight.
