Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, could also return to portray his father, Frank Longbottom, in a brief cameo in what would be season 5, Order of the Phoenix.

Apart from these nostalgic original characters returning to play one of their parents in the main series, Warwick Davis, who played both Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook, could theoretically return. Bonnie Wright, who originally played Ginny Weasley, could also theoretically return to play Mrs. Weasley. John Cleese could reprise his role as Nearly Headless Nick, and David Bradley could still play Mr. Filch. Other Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone ing cast , such as Alfred Enoch, who played Dean Thomas, and Sean Biggerstaff, who played Oliver Wood, could also take on new roles in the series.
