Nominated for The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Jessica Chastain has had a productive career so far, playing diverse roles in different genres. Receiving the only Golden Globes nomination for the movie, Chastain plays Tammy Faye, the real-life televangelist from the '70s who, along with her husband, created a massive religious broadcast network and a theme park, deceiving several people along the way.

As one IMDb points out, not only that the movie is worth going to the theaters for, but Jessica Chastain's Tammy Faye is also the "best female performance of the year."

The best movie of the actress's career is also considered Interstellar, Chastain plays the adult version of Murphy Cooper, the daughter of a scientist (played by Matthew McConaughey) who is left behind when her father is recruited for the mission Endurance in outer space.

Although it's not a massive or leading role for Chastain, she does a great job with what she's given and the relationship with her character's father is the heart of the film.

Nominated for House Of Gucci, Lady Gaga keeps proving that her acting career can be as successful as her musical career. Gaga's performance this year has pleased the Golden Globes and the critics, but it didn't get her an Oscar nomination, which came as a shock for some fans.

That year, she played a singer on the path to stardom in A Star is Born. While she didn't win a Golden Globe for her acting that year, she won an Oscar for the song "Shallow," which she performed with Bradley Cooper at the 2019 ceremony.

The actress shined as the protagonist's daughter, getting a Golden Globe nomination for her delicate performance that year too. Soon fans will be seeing the nominee actress on the screen once more since Colman will be in the  series Secret Invasion, part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
