A Ginny & Georgia season 3's release is slated for June 5 after a more than two-year hiatus for the popular show.

Netflix has now released a season 3 trailer that shows Georgia awaiting the verdict of her murder trial as the drama intensifies for her and Ginny. The trailer begins with Georgia being shown behind the bars of a jail cell while Ginny asks, "What happens when everything falls apart?" Despite what happened between them, there is a glimpse of Ginny and Marcus about to kiss, along with shots of Ginny taking pictures with her friend group that is known as MANG. The trailer ends with Georgia smiling confidently while sitting in a courtroom. Check out the trailer below:

What This Means For Ginny & Georgia Season 3

Georgia Keeps Her Head Held High While She Faces Her Greatest Challenge Yet

After Ginny & Georgia season 2's cliffhanger ending, season 3 will dive straight into the consequences of Georgia's arrest. Regardless of her dire situation, Georgia has not lost her charm or confidence, as evidenced by the way she presents herself in the courtroom, the way she asks, "Don't you want to ask me if I did it?" and her line about the importance of perception. A shot of young Georgia (Nikki Roumel) stuffing cash into her shirt promises more flashbacks as well that provide insight into the titular character's past.

Ginny's opening lines emphasize that Georgia's actions have once again upended her life, but this time, Ginny will still be holding onto the relationships she has built in Wellsbury. She and Marcus still share a deep emotional connection, and the trailer indicates that there will still be plenty of romantic sparks between them. Ginny's relationships with her friends appear to still be strong as well, and their can help her navigate the difficult times ahead. The relationship between Ginny and her younger brother, Austin (Diesel La Torraca), will continue to be integral as well.

Our Take On The Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Trailer

Payoff Is Coming For Season 2's Cliffhanger

Ginny, Georgia, and Austin look on in shock in Ginny & Georgia

While the season 3 trailer does not confirm any of Ginny & Georgia season 3's boldest theories, it still contains plenty of tantalizing story details, and promises a payoff after season 2's cliffhanger. I have no doubt that Georgia will find a way out of her legal trouble, especially since the show is renewed for season 4, but it will be fascinating to see how she pulls it off. While this storyline is what I am most interested in, I am happy to see that there will still be plenty of focus on Ginny's coming-of-age storylines in Ginny & Georgia season 3.
