Pre-farming Escoffier’s materials in Escoffier’s kit in Genshin Impact 5.6 indicate she is a 5-star Cryo character who wields a polearm in battle.

According to her leaked kit, Escoffer will operate as a Cryo sub-DPS. With her Elemental Skill, she will summon a Cooking Mek, which follows the active character. Periodically, it will fire shots that deal Cryo DMG to the affected target, creating opportunities for the team to trigger Elemental Reactions. The leak also says her Elemental Burst deals AoE Cryo DMG and can heal allies based on her ATK stat, though her main focus should be providing damage while off the field. Escoffier’s leaked Skill in Genshin Impact 5.6, however, has two forms, one of which is not suited for combat.

Leaked Materials Are Still Subject To Change

To take full advantage of her gameplay kit, players will need to max out her base potential, and that requires fully Ascending her and upgrading her Talents. In order to do this, farming Escoffier’s materials is vital. While HoYoverse has not yet announced the necessary items to improve her, leaks have already detailed everything she needs, which allows you to pre-farm Escoffier’s materials. The character’s items have been listed on her page on Honey Hunter World.

Because the list of Escoffier’s materials in Genshin Impact 5.6 is based on leaks, pre-farming can be risky. While the Version 5.6 beta tests occur and HoYoverse doesn’t make an official statement about which materials she will use, the materials are still highly subject to change. As such, you may farm a specific type of item, only to later find out HoYoverse has changed it, which will render some of your efforts null and force you to now farm the new materials. Even with this risk, pre-farming for Escoffier is a good idea.

Only One Item Isn’t Available Before Escoffier’s Release

The first step is pre-farming Escoffier’s Ascension materials, since fully Ascending her also unlocks the ability to fully upgrade her Talents. As a Cryo character, Escoffier consumes the Shivada Jade stones. The least risky materials to pre-farm because it’s unlikely Escoffier will change elements, Shivada Jade stones can mainly be farmed by defeating bosses that have some connection to Cryo. This includes opponents like Cryo Hypostasis, Maguu Kenki, Lupus Boreas, and La Signora. to use the Alchemy Table in Genshin Impact to transform lower-grade Shivada Jade stones into rarer ones.

Unfortunately, there is no way of optimizing your farming efforts by coinciding the Shivada Jade drops with any boss materials. This is because, among Escoffier’s Ascension materials, her world boss material is called Secret Source Airflow Accumulator. This world boss, allegedly called Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device, is not currently present in the game and is listed as the new world boss from Genshin Impact 5.6. As such, its materials cannot be pre-farmed before Escoffier’s release. Additionally, as seen on Honey Hunter World, it does not drop Shivada Jade stones.

When it comes to enemy drops, Escoffier’s next set of Ascension materials includes Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, Artificed Dynamic Gear, all of which can be obtained from Clockwork Meka opponents found across Fontaine. These items are needed in large quantities, especially because they are also used to upgrade Escoffier’s Talents, so be sure to farm as much as you can.

The final Escoffier material to pre-farm for her Ascension is Beryl Conch, a Local Specialty that can be found exclusively in Fontaine. Escoffier will need 168 copies of Beryl Conch, and there are only 108 nodes on the map, so you’ll need to farm these items across at least two days – the only issue is that Local Specialties respawn every 48 hours, so you’ll need to plan your pre-farming efforts accordingly. Like Clockwork Meka opponents, you can also filter Beryl Conch locations on the Interactive Map in Genshin Impact.

To unlock all of Escoffier’s Ascension thresholds, you’ll need 420,000 Mora plus an additional 1,637,400 Mora to take her up to level 90 with Character EXP Materials. If you are in need of extra Mora, you can farm the resource by challenging Blossom of Wealth activities. I recommend doing so in Fontaine, as you can encounter Clockwork Meka opponents and also increase your Gear material income. Farming These Materials Could Take Some Time

Aside from the regular methods that were mentioned, you can gain more Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, and Artificed Dynamic Gear as rewards for specific limited-time events and even purchase some of them monthly from Paimon’s Bargains, so this could help you improve Escoffier’s Talents. Additionally, Escoffier uses Justice Talent books. Teachings of Justice, Guide to Justice, and Philosophies of Justice can be pre-farmed from the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain in Fontaine, but only on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Talent books are some of the most grueling materials to pre-farm in Genshin Impact, so the earlier you start, the better.

As Talent levels advance, Escoffier will need weekly boss materials. The weekly boss material for Escoffier is Eroded Horn, which drops exclusively from the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact. Only 18 copies are needed, but give the heavy limitations imposed over weekly boss fights, in addition to the lack of guarantee that the item will drop, it could take you months to obtain all Eroded Horns you need. Be sure to transform the boss’s other materials into Eroded Horns with Dream Solvent at an Alchemy Table when necessary and possible.

To take each of Escoffier’s Talents to the maximum level, you’ll need Crown of Insight, for a total of three copies, since she has three upgradable Talents. Crown of Insight is a rare Talent material that can be obtained as a reward from specific limited-time events and reputation systems. You can also get Crown of Insight from the battle and a limited quantity from Paimon’s Bargains. Lastly, Escoffier’s material needs include 4,957,500 Mora, making it quite an expensive process in Genshin Impact.
