You can already start pre-farming Dahlia’s materials in Skirk in Genshin Impact.
While HoYoverse has yet to confirm Dahlia’s release as a playable unit, the character is featured in the Version 5.7 beta tests, from which a lot of leaked information is emerging. The leaks indicate that Dahlia is a 4-star Hydro character who uses a sword in combat. Based on Dahlia’s leaked kit in Genshin Impact, his role in team comps will be that of a sustain unit, capable of keeping his team protected by providing shields that can regenerate themselves if certain circumstances are met, including triggering Frozen reactions, which is why he may be a good for Skirk.

All Dahlia Materials In Genshin Impact 5.7 Have Leaked
Pre-Farming Materials Based On Leaks Comes With A Risk
In addition to his abilities in combat, Dahlia’s materials have also been leaked and shared on Honey Hunter World. The character’s entry in the database showcases all the materials that are needed for both his Ascension and Talent-leveling processes, as well as the quantities of each item for each process. They accompany the aforementioned gameplay mechanics leaks and even his Constellations in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 6.X Leaks Claim Worst Possible Outcome For Capitano, But I'm Not Convinced Just Yet
There have been new leaks about Capitano’s release as a playable character in Genshin Impact, but I don’t believe them just yet, despite the evidence.
Pre-farming Dahlia’s materials can be a good decision, as it essentially allows you to instantly level him up to 90 and upgrade his Talents to the maximum level as soon as you obtain him – especially considering that all of his leaked materials are already available in the game. However, you should be wary about the possibility of some of these items being changed by HoYoverse during the Version 5.7 beta tests – this could force you to farm certain items or item families in Genshin Impact all over again, but the risk is usually worth the investment.
Ascension Materials To Pre-Farm For Dahlia In Genshin Impact
You Can Optimize A Few Farming Processes
According to the leak (and based on the rumors that he is a Hydro character), Dahlia consumes Varunada Lazurite elemental stones for his Ascension process. Varunada Lazurite Sliver, Fragment, Chunk, and Gemstone can be farmed from bosses that have a connection with the Hydro element, such as Oceanid, Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device, and Childe. However, I highly recommend farming Varunada Lazurite stones with the Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device boss in Natlan because this will allow you to optimize your farming efforts and cut down some grinding time in Genshin Impact.
The table below lists all the materials needed for Dahlia’s Ascension, split into level thresholds and condensed at the end, according to Honey Hunter World:

The main reason you’ll want to farm Varunada Lazurite stones with Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device is that the boss also drops Secret Source Airflow Accumulator, the world boss material required for Dahlia’s Ascension. As such, you can face this boss and farm two types of materials within a single challenge. You’ll need to face the world boss from Genshin Impact 5.6 multiple times to obtain all the required materials, so it could take a few days before the farming effort here is over.
According to the leak, Dahlia also uses the Calla Lily material in his Ascension process. Calla Lily is a Local Specialty from Mondstadt that can be found mainly around the Springvale region, but there are nodes around other bodies of water in the Nation of Freedom. There are only 53 Calla Lily nodes in the map, and considering that they only respawn every 48 hours, you may take more than a week to farm everything. I recommend using the interactive map on HoYoLAB to pinpoint the location of all Calla Lilies in Genshin Impact.
You can also harvest Cally Lilies in your Serenitea Pot.
The leak states that Dahlia uses Firm Arrowhead, Sharp Arrowhead, and Weathered Arrowhead as Ascension materials. The Arrowhead materials are dropped from Hirichurl Shooters, which can be found across all nations of Teyvat. If you want to establish farming routes, I also recommend using the interactive map. Be sure to farm a surplus of these materials, as they are also used in Dahlia’s Talent-leveling process. It’s also worth ing that you should use the Alchemy Table in Genshin Impact to transform lower-grade materials into rarer ones – this applies to the Varunada Lazurite stones and the Talent books.
To fuel Dahlia’s Ascension process and unlock all level thresholds, you’ll consume 420,000 Mora, plus an extra 1,673,400 Mora if you’re leveling him up with Character EXP Materials. To obtain extra Mora, I recommend challenging Blossom of Wealth activities within Mondstadt. This will allow you to farm Mora and have a chance at encountering Hilichurl Shooters, which drop the Arrowhead materials that are needed for his Ascension and Talents in Genshin Impact.
Talent Materials To Pre-Farm For Dahlia In Genshin Impact
Farming Talent Materials Can Take A Long Time
In addition to defeating Hilichurl Shooters, you can also get more Arrowhead materials from Paimon’s Bargains, though there is a monthly limitation. Other Talent materials listed for Dahlia are Teachings of Ballad, Guide to Ballad, and Philosophies of Ballad, all of which can be farmed from the Forsaken Rift Domain in Mondstadt on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Talent books are often some of the most time-consuming materials to farm, so you could see yourself farming for weeks, even months, before obtaining all that is necessary.
The table below lists all of Dahlia’s leaked Talent materials in Genshin Impact, according to Honey Hunter World:

At more advanced Talent levels, you’ll need to start using weekly boss materials. According to the leak, Dahlia’s weekly boss material is Eroded Scale-Feather, which drops from the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact. Only 18 copies are needed, but considering weekly boss limitations and the uncertainty that they will drop the required material, it could take you months to farm all the copies.
to use a Dream Solvent at the Alchemy Table to transform any of the boss’s other drops, such as Eroded Horn or Eroded Sunfire, into Eroded Scale-Feather.
You’ll also need three Crowns of Insight, one for each Talent. Crown of Insight can be obtained from certain limited-time events, reputation systems, and the battle . You can also acquire one Crown of Insight every month from Paimon’s Bargains, provided you have the necessary resources. In total, the Talent-leveling process for Dahlia costs nearly five million Mora, so to farm it in Mondstadt if you are short on the main currency in Genshin Impact.
