A new QoL (quality-of-life) update to Genshin Impact 5.1 livestream.

When it comes to main story quests, players should continue assembling Mavuika’s roster of heroes to combat the menace presented by the Abyss, though it is uncertain exactly what will occur during the patch. Xilonen will also be presented as an NPC and playable character following her teaser – she will operate as a 5-star Geo character, capable of debuffing enemies and even healing her allies. In addition to the new content, per si, the developer has announced a series of quality-of-life updates for older features, one of which could make building characters in Genshin Impact a smoother process.

HoYoverse Announced Several Updates For Genshin Impact 5.1

Many QoL Tweaks Are Underway

The multiple QoL updates were announced by HoYoverse in an official Developers Discussion post shared on free Primogems in Genshin Impact 5.1 related to exploration progress within the first Natlan areas introduced with Version 5.0 back in August.

These Primogems can only be claimed by the end of Version 5.2 – after that, the bonuses will be removed from the game.

Genshin Impact’s Crafting Bench Gets A Big Update In Version 5.1

Many New Functions Are Being Added To The System

The most notable QoL update is a tweak to the Crafting Bench. According to the post on HoYoLAB, the Crafting Bench will now feature a one-stop interface that should make it much easier to understand which materials are missing for each character and weapons’ Ascension process, as well as character Talents. Essentially, the Crafting Bench update will now add a feature that allows players to single out a desired character and that will show all their related development materials. This can be filtered for the character’s Ascension, individual Talents, and their equipped weapon Ascension in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Say Mavuika Is Finally Breaking A Four-Year Trend

The first leaks about Mavuika’s skills in Genshin Impact 5.3 have emerged and she may finally end a character’s four-year reign in a team comp role.

Aside from simply showing the types of materials that the selected character needs for whatever process the player chooses, this update will also allow the Crafting Bench to automatically calculate how many copies of each material are needed and compare it to how many the player currently has. From there, players can choose to craft the materials they require and the game will detect the amount of materials needed to fulfill the development. The post exemplifies this by showing that Kinich’s materials in Genshin Impact need 12 Seasoned Fangs, but that the player only has 10 copies in their inventory.

Furthermore, when players choose to filter a character by their Ascension, they can also select the Ascension Phase they want to reach. Players can carefully plan out their farming efforts based on each threshold rather than simply farming a huge stock for the complete Ascension. Another helpful tool added to the Crafting Bench update shows how many of a certain material can be crafted instead of leaving it to players to calculate it. Lastly, the player’s latest characters will also be displayed at the top of the page, making it easier to select the filters for them in Genshin Impact.

Why The Genshin Impact 5.1 Crafting Bench Update Is So Good

Players Can Save A Lot Of Time With The Updates

The updates to the Crafting Bench in Version 5.1 are helpful because of how much they reduce wasted time. Showcasing how many copies a player can craft spares them the time of having to do the math and allows them to plan efficiently. Simply showing how many copies of materials are needed for a character’s Ascension from within the Crafting Bench is also a time-saver since the current procedure is to access the character’s Ascension page, open the Bench, forget about one of the materials, return to their character page in Genshin Impact, and then access the Crafting Bench again.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks: Mavuika May Have The Most Broken Mount In Natlan

Mavuika’s gameplay kit has leaked and, with it, the mount she uses in Genshin Impact – and it may be broken compared to the other mounts so far.

It is worth noting that this is not a leak and is official information from HoYoverse, meaning it is reliable that it will be added to the game with Version 5.1. These system optimizations and quality-of-life updates have been under HoYoverse’s radar over the past year, and it seems like a lot of the older systems will get much easier and quicker to use as the game moves forward into its fourth year. There are, however, several leaks that have not yet been confirmed by the developer, including a potential plot twist in Genshin Impact 5.1.
