After seeing the Skirk’s kit in Genshin Impact.
So far, these leaks have revealed that Skirk may be a 5-star Cryo character who wields a sword in combat. According to her leaked kit, Skirk’s Elemental Skill has two forms, one of which puts her in a special state that infuses her Normal and Charged Attacks with Cryo, and boosts her overall damage output – a description that resembles Arlecchino in Genshin Impact and her Masque of Red Death mechanic. Additionally, the leaks say that Skirk’s Elemental Burst deals a huge instance of damage to nearby enemies and that it does not rely on a traditional Energy system.
Skirk's Signature Weapon In Genshin Impact 5.7 Has Leaked
The 5-Star Sword Is Allegedly Called Azurelight
According to information shared on the Honey Hunter World database, which has proven to be reliable in the past, Skirk’s signature weapon is a 5-star sword called Azurelight. As seen in the leak, Azurelight has a high base ATK stat (674 at level 90) and a useful CRIT Rate sub-stat (22.05% at level 90). These stats have been updated from the original leak provided by HomDGCat, which was shared in a post on Reddit. Originally, Skirk’s leaked weapon in Genshin Impact had a lower base ATK (608 at level 90) and a higher CRIT Rate sub-stat (33.1% at level 90).

Genshin Impact: Skirk Ascension & Talent Materials (Pre-Farm Guide)
You can already start pre-farming Skirk’s Ascension and Talent materials in Genshin Impact to ensure you have everything ready once you obtain her.
Azurelight’s leaked skill (officially known as the Weapon Affix) sees that within 12 seconds after an Elemental Skill is used, the ’s ATK is increased by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48%. During this time, when the has 0 Energy, ATK is further increased by 24% / 30% / 36% / 42% / 48%, and CRIT DMG is increased by 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80%. This leaked 5-star weapon should play right into Skirk’s gameplay kit in Genshin Impact, as she should always have 0 Energy thanks to her leaked Burst mechanic.
Skirk's Leaked Signature Weapon's Skill In Genshin Impact Doesn't Work With Other Characters
The Weapon’s Stats May Justify Its Usage On Other Characters, However
While the weapon is seemingly perfect for Skirk because she is rumored to use her Skill to enter the special mode, thus granting her a huge ATK boost and a decent CRIT DMG increase, the leaked Azurelight may not work with any other character. Currently, there are no sword s who don’t rely on traditional Energy mechanics, meaning that any other character who equips Azurelight would miss out on the secondary ATK increase and CRIT DMG boost provided by the weapon’s affix. Instead, characters would only activate the initial 24% ATK bonus after using their Elemental Skill.
The offensive stats and ATK bonus triggered after the Skill’s usage would benefit characters like Ayaka, Keqing, Xingqiu, and Clorinde in Genshin Impact.
As such, unless this weapon is employed by Skirk exclusively, a lot of its potential would go to waste. Even so, Azurelight’s leaked stats and ATK bonus are fairly high and could justify its usage on other characters, even if they can’t trigger the secondary effect. The leaked weapon could easily be used by any of the aforementioned sword s if your current best option is a 4-star sword. The weapon’s high base ATK stat and great CRIT Rate sub-stat are great for any character who scales off of ATK and traditional damage systems.
Additionally, a character like Ayaka in Genshin Impact, who is expected to continuously attack after using her Elemental Skill, could benefit from the leaked Affix’s first ATK bonus. It’s worth noting that other sword s who scale on different stats, like Ayato (Max HP), Alhaitham (Elemental Mastery), Albedo (DEF), and Furina (Max HP), wouldn’t be compatible with the weapon, despite how good its stats are. It seems like Azurelight is tailored exclusively for Skirk, so unless you obtain her or are comfortable sacrificing a portion of the weapon’s potential on another character, you may want to rethink pulling for it.
Genshin Impact 5.7's Skirk Has Other Viable 5-Star Weapon Substitutes
Mistsplitter Reforged Could Be Skirk’s Second-Best Sword Option
It makes perfect sense to pull for Azurelight after obtaining Skirk, as her performance would be drastically improved with her leaked signature weapon. However, if you want to save resources, there are other 5-star swords that could be employed by the Cryo character in Genshin Impact that work particularly well with her leaked kit. Based on the character’s leaked kit, it’s expected that Ayaka’s signature weapon, Mistsplitter Reforged, will be Skirk’s second-best 5-star weapon. The weapon has the same base ATK as Azurelight and a high CRIT DMG sub-stat (44.1% at level 90).

Genshin Impact 5.7 Leaks Tease Essential Artifact Update Set To Revolutionize Character Builds
A list of new QoL updates from Genshin Impact 5.7 has leaked, which includes Artifact Presets, which could enable quick-swapping builds.
Furthermore, Mistsplitter Reforged’s Affix increases the ’s Elemental DMG Bonus for their elemental type by 12%. At stacks 1/2/3, Elemental DMG is further increased by 8% / 16% / 28%. Each stack has an individual duration and is obtained by Normal Attacks with Elemental DMG (five seconds), casting a Burst (10 seconds), and having less than 100% Energy. Because Skirk’s Energy is always 0, she would always have at least one stack. In addition, her Skill enables her Normal Attacks to deal Elemental DMG, which grants her the second stack quite easily.
Because Ayaka has become somewhat obsolete in the meta, it could be a good option to use her signature weapon on Skirk in Genshin Impact, especially if you aren’t too keen on investing in the leaked Azurelight sword.
Other 5-star weapons that could, potentially, work with Skirk are Haran Geppaku Futsu, Freedom-Sworn, Aquila Favonia, and Skyward Blade. All these weapons offer great offensive bonuses that could be used by the character, if the leaks about her kit are accurate. For now, the leaks about Skirk and her signature weapon, Azurelight, should be taken with a grain of salt, as the information may be incorrect or subject to change. Even so, it seems like Azurelight will work exclusively with Skirk, so its lack of flexibility may be a reason to skip it in Genshin Impact.
