Once you make it to Linon Mine in The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll be faced with a handful of tough main and optional bosses, including Yeturak. Yeturak is a reskinned version of Yetuga, the very first boss you face off against in the game. However, don't be fooled by Yeturak's similarities with Yetuga, as the beast has an entirely new set of moves and deals substantially more damage than his doppelgänger.
While Yetuga was Khazan's first real test of might and your first introduction to how difficult the Shactuka boss in First Berserker.

How To Defeat Yeturak (All Weaknesses)
Yeturak Can Be Easily Overwhelmed With Combo Damage
Yeturak is very similar to Yetuga, Khazan's first boss, but is cranked up to 11 when it comes to damage. If it wasn't obvious, you'll want to avoid taking damage at all costs, as Yeturak can easily exhaust you and deal massive blows to your health. While he is much more aggressive and has faster attacks than Yetuga did, you should also have many more tools in your arsenal and a much better grasp on how to build up combos. Yeturak can be easily overwhelmed by a flurry of combo attacks, and he'll actually stumble over and fall on his back, leaving you ample time for dealing damage.

10 Best Armor Sets To Get In The First Berserker: Khazan
Some of the best armor sets in The First Berserker: Khazan include the Crushed Dreams Set, the Deep Shadow Set, and the Chaos-Ridden Set.
Aside from this, Yeturak has slow and staggered swings that deal massive damage, but many of these can be brink guarded or even reflected for optimal stamina damage. If you can get the timing right, a perfect reflection can wipe out pretty much his entire stamina bar if you're playing a spear build in First Berserker: Khazan. Be careful though, as among these slow and reflect-able attacks, Yeturak will charge up an icy hand and swipe for you. If he gets you, he'll deal massive damage and frost buildup.
Yeturak's Main Attacks To Dodge & Counter
Yeturak Lunges & Breathes Ice
Another attack to keep an eye out for is Yeturak's ice breath, which is also an opportunity to deal some damage. He will breathe out a blast of ice in a lateral pattern across the map, but he stays in one place while doing so. You can throw a Concentrated Fire Essence if you can get out of the line of ice first, or just get behind Yeturak and hit him with some deadly combos.
Concentrated Essence of each major status type can be crafted at the blacksmith in the Crevice using Spirit Orbs and Transmutation Shards, as well as gold.
Yeturak will also bang his chest before lifting a huge chunk of ice from the ground, jumping in the air and slamming you with it. Brink dodge out of the way to avoid certain death. Other attacks you'll want to dodge include Yeturak's lunging attack with a zoom-in animation, an attack where he throws a single snow ball at you, and a running charge attack. Finally, Yeturak will do an overhead fist slam, which can be brutal if you miss the dodge, but incredible if you time a reflection perfectly.
Rewards For Beating Yeturak
The Frozen Mountain Set Is The Best Defensive Spear Option
When you take Yeturak down, you'll be rewarded with two random pieces of the Frozen Mountain Set, which is a defensive-style spear set that increases your health recovery, gives you extra endurance, and reduces stamina damage taken (among other excellent defensive features). Yeturak also has the potential to drop the special crafting material needed for the Frozen Mountain set, the Frozen Mountain Ruler's Horn. He will also drop a random weapon or accessory, and a nice chunk of Lacrima and gold.
It may take a few tries to get the timing of his staggered swings, but these are prime opportunities to land a reflection and send him reeling backwards.
The Frozen Mountain scroll can be found in the Linon Mine No. 2 during the "Escaping Linon Mine" mission, and will allow you to craft the entire Frozen Mountain set at the blacksmith once you have the required materials. The Frozen Mountain set pieces and/or the Frozen Mountain Ruler's Horn materials are worth farming from Yeturak, as you'll benefit greatly from increased spear defense in the endgame battles to come. This gear set is viable for any range of spear playstyles, and Yeturak is quite easy to farm once you've mastered his movement.
You can also purchase three Frozen Mountain Ruler's Horns from Danjin, the Jar Enthusiast for a set amount of Lacrima.
Overall, Yeturak is likely one of the highest damage-dealing bosses that you've faced up to this point in The First Berserker: Khazan, and he is sure to give you a run for your money. It may take a few tries to get the timing of his staggered swings, but these are prime opportunities to land a reflection and send him reeling backwards. Overwhelming Yeturak with a barrage of attacks will cause him to fall prone, so take advantage of Khazan's Phantom form as well, as you'll be able to overwhelm Yeturak even easier.
