After a break for the World Cup Team Of The Week returns to FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. Teams Of the Week have been commonplace in Ultimate Team on FIFA for a number of years offering promotional cards for select players that have stood out in real matches from that week. The promotion was stopped during the FIFA 23 World Cup season, but with the return of several of the major European leagues is now back. The promotions players have received bigger upgrades to stats than normal and each week going forward will now include two featured Team Of The Week Items.

While not every major league is back in action the Premier League certainly is and after a stunning display for Arsenal in their 4-2 win at Brighton Martin Odegaard leads the way with the highest-rated card in Team Of The Week 10 with an overall rating of 88. While the central midfielders card is not blessed with pace, stats of 90 ing and 88 dribbling make him very useful, especially for an extra link with star Man City striker Erling Haaland. The card also includes the five-star skills attribute meaning Odegaard can perform all of the new skill moves in FIFA 23. It is the Norwegians' second Team Of the Week card in FIFA 23 and matches the midfielder's highest-rated card in the game so far.

Two Featured Promotional Cards

The first of the featured cards will also spark interest for Premier League fans with Aston Villa's defensive midfielder Douglas Luiz earning an updated card after scoring in his side's win at Tottenham. It is Luiz's first promotional card of FIFA 23 and is a major upgrade from his base card of 78 to 87 as an all-around solid CDM with strong physical, defensive, and ing stats.

The Brazilian's position also means the card will easily fit into any of the best Ultimate Team Formations in FIFA 23. Porto strike Mehdi Taremi is the other star to receive a featured card this week having an 87 rating, a significant upgrade from his 82 World Cup card for Iran.

The other standout name that players will be hoping to add to Ultimate Team squads is center forward Antoine Griezmann. Fresh off starring in the World Cup for , Griezmann is another to receive an upgraded 87-rated card which is arguably the most useable in this week's promotion with 86, plus stats for pace, shooting, ing, and dribbling. The forward is easy to link with others and works well in FIFA 23's new chemistry system.

Like Odegaard, it is his second Team Of The Week card of the season, but he already has a higher 89 version from a World Cup promotion which has all-around better attributes. Elsewhere, Manchester United fans will also find an upgrade for Luke Shaw out of his usual position at center back.

Team Of The Week returns with a smaller pool of players to pick from without a host of the most popular star names in world football. However, there are still notable stars that can be picked up for those opening packs in Ultimate Teams this week. Team Of The Week 10 promotional players can be found in packs until Wednesday, January 11th that can also provide cards to use in Squad Building Challenges in FIFA 23.

While there are no game changes for already strong squads several players receive improvements with the Premier League's Martin Odegaard and Douglas Luiz leading the way as the best players in the latest FIFA 23 Team Of The Week.
