Players looking for an alternative to Mario Kart World has a free-roam feature, which will allow players to run off the main racing course and explore several different biomes in the open-world map between matches.

This is the largest installment in the series to date and offers several hours of gameplay, especially due to its replayability factor. Mario Kart World is the main new game for the Switch 2 at launch, as several of Nintendo's first-party games for the platform are still in development. In total, there are 21 launch titles for Nintendo Switch 2, including Mario Kart World, but players looking for a racing game on the platform could look at an alternative – and, luckily, it’s also a launch title for the console.

A post on Reddit by DLAOG has revealed that there is a hilarious homage to the popular Luigi Death Stare meme in Mario Kart World.

One of Fast Fusion’s most notable features is the ability to fuse different vehicles to create new ones. As such, players will have plenty of vehicle options to choose from as they progress and unlock more vehicles that can then be fused with others for even more racing gear. Fast Fusion’s multiplayer experience can rival that of Mario Kart World, even if it is significantly different. Even so, if the player’s intention is to race with friends, it could be a great alternative to the first-party launch title.

Fast Fusion Is Way Cheaper Than Mario Kart World

The Game Is Over 80% Cheaper

What makes Fast Fusion a great alternative to Mario Kart World is its price. The newest Fast game is much cheaper than the newest Mario Kart World title. On the $80 games for Nintendo Switch are here to stay. On the other hand, Fast Fusion is priced at $14.99 on the Nintendo Switch Store, making it $65 cheaper than the first-party game.

Effectively, Fast Fusion is around 81% cheaper than Mario Kart World.

One of the big issues with Mario Kart World is its increased price compared to other current AAA titles. $80 is an unforeseen value for a base game in its digital edition, which could put some players away from it. If those players who don’t feel inclined to spend that amount on the game still want a racing experience, Fast Fusion is a great alternative, as it can provide a similar level of fun, with multiplayer functions, for a reduced price.

For further reference, in case you’re not familiar with Fast games, the franchise has been compared to the F-Zero and Wipeout series due to its futuristic setting and fast-running anti-gravity vehicles. As such, Fast Fusion’s racing experience is significantly different from the party-based racing experience provided by Mario Kart World, but it can still appease a player’s need for speed without costing an overwhelming amount of money.
