Jiren's saga in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero gives offers players three distinct endings. The canon ending sees Jiren ultimately lose the Tournament of Power, which is exactly how the anime plays out, but there are also two endings that don't follow this timeline. These alternate endings provide a glimpse into what might have been if Jiren's path had diverged. One ending shows Jiren as a relentless force, driven by his unwavering belief in the superiority of sheer might. Here, Jiren chooses to prioritize crushing his opponents, showcasing a more ruthless and single-minded approach to his goals.

The other ending delves into the potential for Jiren's character to evolve. It exposes Jiren's self-doubt, hinting at a possible path toward greater understanding and empathy. These alternate endings are really good at making Jiren grow as a character. However, the canon ending also gives Jiren a chance to grow and showcase the core themes of teamwork and the triumph of spirit over raw power. Unlocking them is very tough, though, so you're going to need to be ready.

The alternate endings can only be achieved on the default difficulty setting and above. They will not unlock on easy mode.
