iconic battles from the series as you hone your fighting skills to become the strongest warrior in the universe. With the massive number of options for leveling up and customizing your favorite fighters, collecting Dragon Balls, amassing Zeni, completing Zen-Oh's Orders, and Whis's Stamp Book, there is plenty to keep players busy in Sparking! Zero.
As you play the game, you'll have the opportunity to earn proficiency stars for each of the currently included in the game, and you will receive rewards for doing so. For the completionists among us, this may seem like a daunting task. Thankfully, there are several ways to gain proficiency across multiple game modes, and you'll even have the ability to level up proficiency in multiple characters at the same time.
What Is Character Proficiency?
A Measurement Of Character Mastery
Proficiency in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is a gauge of the amount of experience you have playing as a certain fighter, so to increase proficiency with a character, you'll need to play as that specific character. Each fighter has a Proficiency Gauge with a total of seven stars, each representing a level of expertise.

How To Make Wishes In Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
Making wishes in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is easy if you know how to find all the dragon balls and know what each dragon will grant you.
It should be noted that raising your favorite fighter's proficiency levels will have no effect on their stats. However, you will earn rewards for earning proficiency stars. Several of Zen Oh's Orders (one for each fighter) reward you for increasing character proficiency levels. Once you reach the one-star, four-star, and seven-star proficiency levels for a fighter, Zen-Oh will reward you with icon titles and Zeni, so it is well worth the effort to raise your proficiency in as many characters as you can.
How To Raise Character Proficiency Fast
Fight In Battle Modes To Raise Proficiency
To increase your proficiency, you'll need to fight in any of the following modes with your chosen fighter: Episode Battle, Bonus Battle, World Tournament, and Battle (under the "Battle & Training" menu). The first time you participate in one of these modes, you will automatically gain one level of proficiency. After that, you will need to dedicate increasing amounts of time to achieve even higher proficiency levels. Luckily, there is a relatively fast and simple way to increase the proficiency of multiple characters at once.
The fastest and most efficient way to raise your proficiency levels is through Team Battles. Select "Battle" from the "Battle & Training" Menu. You'll be able to choose up to five fighters for your team, each will gain proficiency (even if you don't tag them in). Make sure to fight with a full team every time you battle to level up proficiency for five fighters at once.
You can also customize your Player Card at the Kame House by displaying the proficiency level of your chosen character. Your player card will be visible to other players when you are online, so show off your hard work by displaying those proficiency stars.
Earning the rewards from Zen-Oh's Orders will let you buy stronger fighters and items that will help you defeat even the strongest foes. Using the team battle method will see you well on your way to maxing out proficiency with the fighters you have unlocked in no time, preparing you for the many difficult fights ahead in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.
