Warning: Contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima episode #17.Dragon Ball Daima has officially entered its final arc, and there’s a brand-new trailer to celebrate. One of the major questions people have had about Daima since the beginning has been its length; there have always been prevalent rumors that it would be a short series of around 20 episodes, but for most of its run, there’s never been a definitive answer.

The exact length of Dragon Ball Daima has always been a mystery, but fortunately, that’s no longer the case. The most recent episodes have made it clear that the series is heading towards its climax, and sure enough, Dragon Ball Daima’s official X has released a new trailer highlighting the fight with Gomah as the final arc and ultimate climax of the series. The trailer has plenty of action and spoilers, and overall, it’s the perfect way of hyping up ’s finale.

The Biggest Spoilers In Dragon Ball Daima’s New Trailer Explained

Every New Reveal In Dragon Ball Daima's Latest Trailer

The main focus of the trailer is the battle with Gomah after the latter obtained the Third Eye, which was already set up in the cliffhanger ending of Dragon Ball Daima episode #16 and the original preview for episode #17. The new trailer didn’t stop there, though, as not only did it give a full look at Gomah’s new muscular design, but Dragon Ball Daima’s new trailer revealed that Goku’s group teams up with Tamagami Number One and Majins Kuu and Duu to defeat Gomah, which sets up just how big a threat Gomah is expected to be.

The biggest reveal from the trailer, however, was with Goku. Naturally, the trailer had plenty of moments of Goku fighting in episodes old and new, but more than that, Dragon Ball Daima’s new trailer revealed that Goku will finally turn Super Saiyan 3 in its climax, either during the fight with the Majins or in the fight with Gomah. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta was one of the biggest highlights of the series, by far, and if Super Saiyan 3 Goku is given the same level of love, it’s bound to be the best part of the climax.

Will Dragon Ball Daima’s Climax Stick The Landing?

Can Dragon Ball Daima End On A High Note?

With Dragon Ball Daima officially coming to a close, that, of course, raises the question of whether it will stick the landing. While Daima was almost universally beloved when it first got going, as the series continued, it started drawing criticism for its pacing and how underdeveloped certain plot points and characters were, most notably Gomah and Degesu’s lack of focus. Much of that can be attributed to the short length of the series, but regardless, the various pacing issues of Dragon Ball Daima’s later episodes have had people worrying about whether the ending will be a good one.

That doesn’t mean the finale is a lost cause, of course. Gomah finally taking the spotlight is one thing, but with how great the action, comedy, and character writing have been from day one, Dragon Ball Daima’s finale will surely do a great job of bringing everything great about the series together in a largely satisfying way, even if it might come about too quick for some people’s liking. There’s still plenty to be excited about with Dragon Ball Daima, especially after the trailer, and however its final act plays out, it’s sure to end on a high note.
