Hulu and Disney+ crime comedy series Deli Boys is now available for streaming, with its 10-episode first season released following two and a half years of development. The series features some stellar names on its cast list, including two major sitcom stars of South-Asian heritage, Poorna Jagannathan and Brian George. It also sees relative Hollywood newcomes Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh in the lead roles.

Pakistani-American writer and actor Abdullah Saeed, who previously worked on HBO’s 118-day SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023, but it’s finally here as 2025’s latest culture-clash comedy.

His big break came in 2016 with the Shipley brothers’ Lost parody series Wrecked, in which he played main character Pack Hara. However, Deli Boys represents Ali’s first lead role since then.
