EA Sports College Football 25's Dynasty Mode allows you to build a custom team from available athletes, but only some Pipeline regions have the best athletes ready to compete. Depending on the team you build, you only have limited picks in areas around the country. Choosing a strong Pipeline will allow you to gain an excellent crop of talented players for your team's season.
There are around 50 different Pipelines in College Football 25's Dynasty Mode, but not all represent a single state in the USA. Some larger states, like Texas or California, are broken down into smaller regions as separate Pipelines to recruit players. For example, Central Florida is a subsection within the Florida state, rather than having Florida on its own as a Pipeline you could choose.

By spending enough energy and by responding appropriately to text messages you can graduate early if you wish to in College Football 25.
General Strategies For Selecting A Pipeline
Understand What Each Area Has To Offer
The first thing you need to know about Pipelines is that athletes of every type can be found in each area. No one Pipeline has an abundance of receivers, quarterbacks, or other positions in the game that you can try to specialize in. Certain areas may have some of the top players in College Football 25, and you'll want to recruit them because of their talent in a certain position, but the pipeline itself has little impact on this factor.
All a Pipeline does is increase the chances of a player g with you if they are from the same region, similar to how colleges usually try to scout local talent first rather than out-of-state. Every possible recruit has unique motivations and goals you'll have to navigate regardless of which Pipeline you choose. Typically, you want to aim for the caliber of players who have stood out against a larger competition pool.
The best players to look for are the ones with the highest star ratings that match a large Pipeline Rating. For example, an athlete with a five-star but one-star Pipeline Rating will be extremely hard to recruit despite their talent and, therefore, not worth your limited resources. On the other hand, a player whose Pipeline Rating is five and general Rating is four or even three stars is an almost guaranteed pick to come to your program.
All the details about a player's relationship with your Pipeline and their overall star Rating can be found on their Recruiting Card from the Recruiting Board or Prospect List menus.
As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator Hollywood 2K, you want to base your Pipeline close to your team's location. Those who try to lead a team like the University of Alabama would likely find trouble recruiting if they chose their Pipeline to be the northeast New England region. Understanding your selected team's relationship with your Pipeline will make getting the players you want easier.
Which Pipelines Are The Best For Recruiting?
Recognize Regions Based On Past Dominance
Due to the vast variety of unique players available in every Pipeline, the best region is objective without any clear answer. However, areas with successful dynasty teams tend to contribute their victories to the vast talent they can recruit close to them. Certain regions within states have trends you can follow regarding the type of players found there, but keep in mind that not every Pipeline fits every team's needs.
Some of the best Pipelines to pick are:
- East Texas
- South California
- Louisiana
- South Florida
- Metro Atlanta
- South Georgia
Regions near teams in the Southern Eastern Conference (SEC) tend to have good Pipelines, although there are several exceptions. Texas, Florida, Georgia, and California have some of the largest selections of players, making it easier to find talent for the season. While you don't have to pick every athlete from this selection of Pipelines, some of your most important positions can be filled by searching through these areas.

How To Recruit Players From Pipelines
Incentivize Athletes To Play For You
Once you've identified what Pipeline you want, the next step is recruiting players from that region. This process can be quite tricky, even with the bonus you receive to make it easier to convince athletes in your Pipeline to your roster. The limited number of hours your coach has to use on recruitment should be used wisely to ensure that the strongest prospects within your Pipeline are not lost.
One great resource for determining which players from a Pipeline you could want is the Team Builder App in College Football 25. This external application can help you narrow down which athletes will be best for your team.
You have to commit hours to win over a player to convince them to put your school in their Top 3 and eventually commit to competing with you. You can Scout a player at first, but you may need to communicate more with the athlete to win them over. Various programs are given different total hours that your coach can use, with larger five-star colleges usually getting the most.
Since you only have room to recruit 35 players, the amount of time you have to spend with possible recruits must be focused on your top choices. This is where Pipelines come in, as players within your Pipeline require fewer hours to convince than anyone else outside your region. Conserving your total hours will allow you to make more offers to top choices from further away to balance out your roster further.
School Grades tied to individual scores, like Program Tradition and Brand Exposure, will also help you gain the trust of potential players in your Pipeline. Most of these factors can be increased as time es, but that is a goal set over a longer timeframe. Those who want to make the most of the best Pipelines in EA Sports College Football 25 should start using their region as leverage to recruit who they want right away.
