Coachella is all the rage, known for kicking off the music festival season in America every year without fail. If you thought Charli XCX's first performance at Coachella was impressive, the British pop star had even more in store for her set the second weekend. Opening with the highly energetic remix of "365," Charli emerged onto the stage to an eruption of cheers. Almost immediately, the entire crowd was on their feet going wild, which proved to be a massive step up from the energy of the first weekend's crowd.
About halfway through her set, Charli XCX performed the brat staple "Apple." Continuing the tradition of selecting a member of the audience to show off their dance skills for the song's chorus, the star of "Apple" for the night was the iconic SNL cast member, Bowen Yang. Continuing with the surprise guest stars, Charli brought out TikTok star Addison Rae at the end of her set for a performance of the "Von Dutch" remix.
The finale of Charli's performance is what truly had fans buzzing though. After performing the hit that made her famous, "I Love It," the screen illuminated with an outro video before the artist exited the stage. In one of Coachella's most shocking moments, Charli XCX declared the end of "brat summer" sharing, "maybe it's time for a different kind of summer?" The screen then displayed the names of artists and directors destined to take over the industry this year.
3 Green Day Brings A Fan Onstage To Cover Operation Ivy's "Knowledge"

Green Day's headlining set of Coachella Weekend 2 was full of surprises, and one of them had one fan in particular over the moon. The set opened with the rock anthem, "American Idiot," in which Billy Joe Armstrong changed some of the lyrics to make a strong political statement. Early on in the set, the band took to performing the track, "Know Your Enemy," inviting a fan named Stephanie on stage to enjoy the track with the band.
Later on in the set, the band took to reviving an old tradition. Performing a cover of Operation Ivy's "Knowledge," the band invited a fan (named Lexy) on stage to perform the song on guitar with them. The band even let her keep the guitar after ing them for the performance!

Ed Sheeran is easily one of the most talented solo acts to grace the stage of Coachella 2025, and his special performance opening Weekend 2 on the Mojave stage further proved this point. Taking the stage all on his own without a band to play behind him, Sheeran built the track of each song live in front of the audience, accomplished by playing each part of the song, looping and layering all the parts until he had a substantial track to accompany him.
Of course, the singer's Coachella set included massive hits such as "Shape Of You" and "Bad Habits," but the true gem of this performance was a unique moment for Sheeran. The British singer-songwriter gave his single "Azizam" its first major performance while opening the stage, and even though he initially tripped up while setting the track, he was quick to recover. The end result was nothing short of extraordinary. Though this was the live debut of his new single, it was hardly noticeable as Sheeran performed the track with such personality and ion, easily marking it as one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.
5 Cynthia Erivo s Gustavo Dudamel And The Los Angeles Philharmonic
The Collaboration Had The Audience In Tears With A Special Tribute
The Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Gustavo Dudamel, gave a moving performance during Coachella Weekend 2, inviting plenty of special guests to them throughout the set. 9 Zedd Delivers A Stunning Performance With Major Guest Appearances
The DJ's Set Was A Production Spectacle That Had Everyone Talking
Zedd performed the most versatile set of the festival on the second Sunday at Coachella. As one of the largest electronic acts on the festival's lineup, he brought a huge stage production to back him up, complete with fireworks, lasers, and stunning visuals. On top of the massive stage production, the DJ's set included guest appearances from the likes of Bea Miller, Incubus, Alessia Cara, and the LA Philharmonic.
During this performance, Zedd proved that he is so much more than your typical DJ, displaying his expertise on both the drums and the piano at various points in the set. In collaboration with Incubus, Zedd played the drums on the tracks "Drive," "Wish You Were Here," and "Pardon Me." Nearing the end of his set, he then took to the piano, playing the beginning of the Severance theme song and introducing the Los Angeles Philharmonic to him on the track. From here, they played into an orchestral arrangement of the infamous dance tune, "Clarity," for a triumphant closing to the DJ's Coachella set.

Headlining the main stage on Sunday night, Post Malone brought out Ed Sheeran and Jelly Roll to help him end Coachella on a high note. Post Malone kicked off the set with a bang, featuring the songs "Texas Tea," "Wow," and "Better Now," at the beginning of his performance. Just shy of the halfway mark in his set, Malone began performing the track "Losers," a song featured on his record F-1 Trillion. As the second verse began, fans went wild as country singer, Jelly Roll came out on stage to perform his section of the track, surprising everyone in the audience.
The excitement was far from over after this initial surprise appearance, however. As the set was nearing its end, Ed Sheeran ed the stage, guitar in hand, to help on the beloved track, "Sunflower." This immediately became a major highlight of the music festival's final day, and as the song came to an end, the two gave cheers and shared a drink before Sheeran departed the stage.
