Captain Marvel played a big role in Spider-Man: Far From Home, which offered a glimpse at life post-Iron Man and final snap following the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Life at the rescued Tony Stark and Nebula and helped the surviving heroes confront Thanos, but after the five-year time jump, she left and came back until the third act of the film.
Carol arrived just in time to help all the superheroes and allies during the battle against Thanos, but Avengers: Endgame never explained what she was up to before she came back – luckily, this can be addressed in Captain Marvel 2.

Captain Marvel 2 can not only show what Carol’s next mission in the post-Endgame universe will be but it can also take some time to explain where and what exactly she was doing before she came back to fight in the Battle of Earth. The film can show Carol on some of the planets she was helping, which would not only reveal how other planets and races were dealing with the snap but also how she established relationships with them, which can come in handy in this or future stories. How exactly she helped other planets is also a mystery, which can be answered in Carol’s solo adventure. While Avengers: Endgame was an exciting event and finally brought all the heroes in the MCU together, it also left a lot of questions unanswered, which will hopefully be addressed in some of the films.
