Captain America star Chris Evans accompanies a die-hard Marvel fan as he finished getting a full-sleeve Winter Soldier arm tattoo inspired by the Chris Evans played the MCU's Steve Rogers masterfully since Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, but he rose to legendary Marvel actor status in Captain America: The Winter Soldier — one of the most acclaimed movies in the whole MCU. Since then, Chris Evans has retained the same level of popularity as fellow Marvel stars Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Jackman, and Tobey Maguire.

As reported by People, Tattoo shop owner Josh Lord was met with a pleasant surprise as Chris Evans arrived just in time to witness Captain America superfan Scott Clayton receive the finishing touches on his Winter Soldier arm tattoo, which replicates Bucky Barnes' original Titanium prosthetic arm from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Josh Lord's East Side Ink Tattoo is the tattoo shop where The Avengers' six main actors got their commemorative Avengers tattoos in 2018. Tattoo artist Luke Atay designed Scott Clayton's realistic Winter Soldier tattoo.

Chris Evans Is A Marvel Fan Himself

Chris Evans loves the Marvel characters he has played. Throughout the years, Evans has surprised fans at screenings and conventions, and he has visited children’s hospitals dressed as Captain America. Evans was also quick to accept a small role in Deadpool & Wolverine as the Human Torch almost twenty years after his first Johnny Storm performance, all due to how fun the actor considers playing the character. While Chris Evans wasn't included in Avengers: Doomsday's cast announcement, he has also left the door open for an MCU return as Captain America.

Marvel roles have also made a big impact on the lives of most MCU actors. For example, Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan and Sam Wilson actor Anthony Mackie have developed a close friendship in real life since starring together in Captain America: The First Avenger, to the point that Stan and Wilson's real-life friendship photos were featured in Captain America: Brave New World. The Avengers cast's commemorative tattoos and Chris Evans' visit to the tattoo shop are also an example of their genuine appreciation for the Marvel universe.
