Below Deck season 12, it was clear Solène was going to make an impact, though whether that's good or bad remains to be seen. Solène, who had roughly three weeks worth of yachting experience before ing Below Deck's charter season, was open about the fact that she wanted to learn, but needed a lot of help. Calling herself a "baby Stew," Solène quickly tucked herself beneath Barbara Kulaif and Rainbeau du Roos' wings.
Although Solène was quick to share that she needed help aboard, she seems to be a quick learner who knows how to find her way around a superyacht. While there were a few hangups during the Below Deck season 12 premiere, Solène appears to be learning and communicative, which means she could excel easily aboard St. David. Time will tell if Solène will be able to stick out the charter season, but thankfully, the reality TV aspect of Below Deck won't be a deterrent for the new Stew the way it has been for some others, as she has experience.
Below Deck Season 12's Solène Favreau's Age
She's In Her Late 20s
Although Solène has a young spirit that Chief Stew Fraser Olender picked up on quickly, she's actually in her late 20s. As a part of the new St. David crew, Solène is currently the fourth Stew and the lowest ranking member of the Interior department. Even so, Solène's ability to learn made it clear that she's not as immature as she may seem. Giving off a fun, frenetic energy, Solène made it obvious that she loves to have fun however she can, and her past reality TV experience lends to that idea. At 28, Solène is diving into her prime.

She Appeared On Love Island
While Below Deck viewers may not be as familiar with Solène's reality TV past due to geographical restriction, die-hard Love Island fans may know of her because of her past appearance on Love Island . Sharing that she'd been on reality TV before quickly during the Below Deck season 12 premiere, Solène had no issues with the cameras, nor did she seem to have any problems sharing her feelings in the interview segments with producers. Authentically herself, Solène made it clear that she's ready to work and happy to be part of the Below Deck season 12 cast, radiating enthusiasm.

During her time on Love Island season 2, Solène found herself in the standard Love Island villa with a match. While her relationship with Nicolò Ferrari was quick to ignite on the show, Solène and her Love Island fling didn't last long after the show's finale. After their relationship on the series, Solène and Nicolò were matched up together on another French reality TV series, but things didn't take off. With a few shows under her belt, Solène understands the way reality TV works, which will be a major bonus for her as she learns the ropes aboard.

She Worked 22 Days Prior To Below Deck
During the Below Deck season 12 premiere, it was highlighted that Solène had only worked aboard a superyacht for 22 days prior to ing the St. David crew. While new yachties are usually a genuine struggle for the crew to work with, Solène didn't appear to be a major problem during the first charter. Though she did need some help navigating her responsibilities, Solène was able to grasp what she needed to do quickly, and made it clear when she needed help from her fellow Stews. Below Deck season 12 may feature a lot more of Solène than originally expected.
