When The Batman, she becomes the actor who will have starred in the most superhero franchises. Director Matt Reeves' reboot of the Dark Knight is due to hit theaters on June 2021 with Robert Pattinson donning the cape and cowl as the new Batman. Rumored to be an adaptation of The Long Halloween comic book story, The Batman is expected to emphasize Bruce Wayne's detective skills as he pits himself against some of his classic archenemies, which now includes Kravitz as Catwoman.
As the latest actress to portray Selina Kyle, Batman's most famous female foe and sometimes love interest, in live-action, Kravitz follows in in the footsteps of Julie Newmar, Lee Meriweather, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway, and Camren Bicondova. Indeed, Kravitz circled a previous Batman movie that starred Catwoman as she was up for a small role in The Dark Knight Rises; however, Fantastic Beasts films, Kravitz has actually appeared in three major superhero franchises already before The Batman puts her over the top in superhero movie cross-pollination.
