About Jaina Peveto
Jaina Peveto has been involved in fandom literally since before she was born, due to being named after the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia from the Star Wars EU. She has a bachelor's degree in English and in media and communication studies, as well as associate's degrees in English and creative writing. During her time as an undergraduate student, she worked as an intern for her college’s magazine, and she has recently started freelancing for Screen Rant and her local newspaper.
Favorite Media
Some of Jaina's favorite animated shows include Avatar: The Last Airbender, Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia, Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Steven Universe, and The Owl House. Some of her favorite movies are Coco, How To Train Your Dragon, and Encanto. Other favorite genres of television include science fiction and fantasy, though she does sometimes also enjoy watching sitcoms and reality competition shows such as The Voice, Taskmaster, and many shows on Food Network. Outside of movies and TV, Jaina loves stage musicals, her favorites being Hadestown, Wicked, and Les Miserables. She also loves playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.

Jaina enjoys a variety of genres of movies and television shows, but her favorites tend to be musicals, animation, science fiction, and fantasy. She also started taking courses on creative writing about ten years ago, so she is familiar with many of the specific details of what writers are taught makes a good story.
