There are four regions featured in post-war RPG Casterfall Woods and Skethermoor can be tricky. In this guide we'll be focusing on Skethermoor, a region that features a prison and heavy military presence. It's somewhat elusive, but we'll help you get there without much trouble.

Getting to Skethermoor will mean getting to either Slate Mine Caves or Wyndham Village first. From the former, it's as simple as finding a door; for the latter, you'll seek out a secret tunnel in the town pub. After navigating the tunnel and its dangers, you'll come out the other side at Skethermoor.

How To Get To Skethermoor From Slatten Dale

Just Look For The Door

Head for the Slate Mine Caves in Slatten Dale at 29.9E 73.8N, near the Outlaw Camp. Take a left past Reg Stansfield, though make sure to talk to him first to pick up the "Voices in the Interchange" lead and Makeshift Grenade crafting recipe. (If you want some Burn Salves, Gunpowder, and/or a Hatchet, those are options, too.) Once past him and heading left, simply go straight and squeeze through the barricade to find the exit to Skethermoor. Easy, right?

How To Get To Skethermoor From Wyndham Village

Who Doesn't Like An Underground Secret Tunnel?

First you'll need to get to Wyndham Village. If you've never been there before, it's in the northeast section of the Slatten Dale map. Once inside, seek out Grendel's Head pub (34.2E 79.3N). From there, check out the doorway leading to some stairs behind the barkeep Alf Buckshaw. Though it wouldn't be the case in most RPGs, you're free to sneak behind him and go downstairs without repercussions.

Equip your flashlight (torch) and turn it on now, then look west until you find some boilers and barrels and hear heavy breathing. Squeeze through the boilers, then open the door on the left leading to Secret Tunnel. Make your way east through the tunnels, then go down the stairs and run east followed by north. (Along the way, you'll probably want to shoot the poisonous plants from range to avoid unnecessary damage. Also beware of the piranhas in the water, though if you just keep moving you should take little to no damage from them.) Head up the stairs, then go southeast. Squeeze through the wood, then head up the ladder to enter Skethermoor.

You'll probably want to avoid trying to take down the robots in Skethermoor right out of the gate.

And that's that. Though Skethermoor is confusing to get to at first, as you can see there are two easy methods that help you find it pretty much as soon as the game starts. Unlike most games, Atomfall features a freeform game structure that allows you to go to any area at any time. However, you'll probably want to avoid trying to take down the robots in Skethermoor right out of the gate.
