1000-lb Sisters star Chris Combs doesn't spend much time on social media, and it's likely because he's focused on his family, career, and weight loss. Though the show mostly chronicles the weight-loss journeys of 37-year-old Amy Slaton and 38-year-old Tammy Slaton, 44-year-old Chris also appears on the show. Like his famous sisters, he has also gone on an incredible weight-loss journey since the debut of the show in 2020.
When the show premiered, Chris weighed over 400 pounds and was scared for his life. He wanted to be around his family for as long as possible and set a good example for his children. Though his path hasn't always been easy, Chris achieved many of his health and fitness goals. By the time 1000-lb Sisters season 6 finished airing, he was approved for skin removal surgery. Unlike his other siblings, Chris rarely posts on social media, and it may be the secret to his success.
Chris Is Excited About The Future At His Job
"Let Get It Today"
While Amy and Tammy made a name for themselves on social media before appearing in 1000-lb Sisters, Chris only posts every once in a while. He mostly posts about his family and weight-loss journey, but Chris's most recent Instagram post was taken at work. The post features a close-up of his face, and his caption reads, "let get it today," which sounds like Chris is feeling great about work.
Chris Is Looking Slimmer Than Ever
Total Transformation
Though the photos of Chris at work don't show his body, his face looks slimmer than it's ever been. Chris weighed over 400 pounds when he made his TV debut, but by the time 1000-lb Sisters season 6 aired, he was 150 pounds lighter. He made so much progress he qualified for the skin removal surgery he desperately wanted. His results remain a mystery, and he's likely saving the big reveal for 1000-lb Sisters season 7.
Chris Needed Time Away To Mourn The Loss Of His Mother's Dog
Goodbye To Baby Girl
Before this last Instagram post, Chris' most recent post was about the ing of the beloved Slaton family dog. The 1000-lb Sisters star shared 44-year-old Amanda Halterman's Instagram announcement about the death of her mother's dog, Baby Girl. "My mom’s beloved Baby Girl ed away the other day," wrote Amanda. "She has given My mom so much joy and companionship over the last 20 years. That’s not a typo. 20 years baby Girl has been with my momma."
