Between its campy writing, gothic atmosphere, and incredible stop-motion animation, The Nightmare Before Christmas is a delightfully bizarre film that's always fun to watch from start to finish. The pacing of the story might be awkward at times, especially near the climax, but fortunately, it's never enough to distract from the strengths of its writing and visuals, so anyone is sure to get a lot out of it.

There's good reason why this is one of the most classic stop-motion films of all time. The film is the perfect ammalgamtion of talents, from Dan Elfman, to Tim Burton, to Henry Selick, and leads to unforgettable music and visual style.

Whether The Nightmare Before Christmas is a Christmas or Halloween movie is largely up for debate, but I'd argue that it is a little bit of both. The use of stop motion is super cool and it's always a fun one that I really enjoy watching (at both Christmas AND Halloween).

TNMB4XMAS , is like an old yr fine wine. Better with age... However, would you mix that wine with a brand new batch of wine? No , it wouldn't taste the same, and it would devalue the original old wine thats been aging. As a kid , i was drawn to things beyond the unknown and so , when first viewing the case to the film ( vhs days 📼) .. i wan enamored. Despite my love for the idea of a sequel , i agree its best left alone. It has mystery, once mystery is solved its like ok , now what ? Its over ? ... HOWEVER, they should make thee ORIGINAL idea come true. A 30 second holiday special, same story, characters , everything.. and make it like the other ones like Rudolph or jack Frost. Tim said that he grew up with those stories and i do agree with myself lol that the nmb4xmas could be one of them that Little little kids could understand and enjoy, and there's money in that too, merch Etc. Just a 30 sec holiday special...

Though I agree partly with this review, I have to disagree that it is not based on whether we should try new things. I think it is more about staying in your lane. You already have a job you are good at don't try to steal other people's. Be content with where you are, and find ways to make it better. Not everyone is cut out for other positions. It like the 1 Corinthians 12, everyone has their gifts and talents, but it is a body or community where everyone comes together to help out
