Reality TV is a scary place. When you throw yourself into it head first, you're putting yourself at risk of becoming either addicted as a viewer, or completely consumed by the spotlight as a member of the cast.

Once audiences have made their minds up about certain characters, reality stars have to go above and beyond if they're hopeful of changing public perception.

There's nothing the reality TV audience loves more than building somebody up, just to tear them right back down a little further down the line. The investment from reality TV audiences is arguably some of the most ionate and reactive to come from the world of television.

While many people may not always be utterly convinced by the goings on and "reality" in reality television, there are undoubtedly bonds made by the of the cast that are true to life. Whether best friends or bitter rivals, some major relationships have been formed by various reality TV veterans.

We've decided to take a look at the reality TV duos who haven't been able to get over some beef. Some we can fully understand, while others we think should learn to get over it. With the bad, however, will always come the good, so we've also decided to delve into the reality TV partners who have become the best of friends thanks to their time on television together.

With that said, here are the 8 Reality TV Stars Who Hate Each Other (And 7 Who Are Best Friends).

Hate each other: Brandi Glanville And Joanna Krupa

Though they come from different branches of The Real Housewives franchise-- with Brandi Glanville a former member of the Beverly Hills cast and Joanna Krupa coming from the Miami series-- this pair have had one of the most bitter rivalries to have come from that world.

When Glanville spoke in an interview on Watch What Happens Live to claim that Krupa had once had an affair with property developer Mohamed Hadid, before going on to say that she had "smelly" nether-regions, Krupa would quickly file a lawsuit for slander and emotional distress.

Seeking $2 million in damages, the case looked set to go to jury trial. Before it could reach that point, however, the pair managed to reach a settlement for an undisclosed amount just two days before they reached court.

Best friends: Snooki And JWoww

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi didn't make the best first impression when Jersey Shore debuted all the way back in 2009, but it didn't take long for the youngster's fellow cast to fall in love with the little meatball.

Her friendship with one person in particular, Jenni "JWoww" Farley would know no bounds. The pair even earned their own spin-off series when Jersey Shore came to an end.

Undoubtedly the two most successful of the cast, Snooki and JWoww have helped their respective careers go from strength to strength.

Now, with a return to the Shore alongside the majority of their original cast-mates on the cards, the world could be about to fall head over heels for this infectious duo all over again. Party's here.

Hate each other: Tyra Sanchez And Morgan McMichaels

Though she won the second season of hit reality competition RuPaul's Drag Race, Tyra Sanchez isn't above getting into some hugely petty drama on social media. The most memorable came in May of last year, when she took to her Twitter to falsely announce the death of her former fellow Drag Race cast member, Morgan McMichaels.

Sanchez posted the fake announcement after being dropped from McMichaels' birthday show in West Hollywood. It wasn't taken well by the drag community, with McMichaels releasing a Facebook Live video to explain the mess from her perspective.

Calling Sanchez "poisonous" and "vicious," she said she would welcome Sanchez back "into the fray" after she had grown up. We've not heard anything about the pair making up since. This one could rumble on for some time...

Best friends: Rachel Reilly And Brendon Villegas

Upon meeting in season 12 of Big Brother US, Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas would be competitors battling it out for the prize of $500,000. With such high stakes on the line, taking your eyes off the ball is dangerous, but Rachel and Brendon couldn't help falling head over heels for one another.

The pair quickly became engaged after leaving the Big Brother house, and would return for season 13 as partners.

Marrying on September 8, 2012, Rachel and Brendon enjoyed three years of bliss before making the announcement that Rachel was pregnant. She gave birth to their first child Adora Borealis Villegas on April 8, 2016, marking the first time a baby had been born out of a Big Brother romance. It's like something out of a fairytale.

Hate each other: Ragan Fox And Rachel Reilly

Though she found love during her time on Big Brother, Rachel wasn't exactly a wallflower. Her big opinions and willingness to go toe-to-toe with anybody who issued her a challenge meant that she provided some of the most explosive and entertaining scenes during both of her Big Brother runs.

Audiences will always Rachel going up against Ragan Fox, but it's not a fight she came out of looking particularly good.

Instead, she turned into the stereotypical snarky Valley Girl, dishing out insults simply for the sake of scoring some cheap shots, while Ragan actually delivered comebacks with intelligence and wit. His impersonation of Rachel's laugh is something that will go down in Big Brother history.

Hating each other on the show, there are now various reports that suggest the two have become close friends!

Best friends: Nev Schulman And Max Joseph

When the original Catfish movie made its debut, nobody could have predicted the direction in which Nev Schulman would have taken the franchise. Going out on the road, Nev would travel across the United States to help willing of the public come to with the fact that they may be talking to somebody online who's not who they were claiming to be.

Though that was entertaining enough, something has to be said for the brilliant friendship shared by Nev and his "filmmaker buddy" Max Joseph.

Nev's own story had a happy ending when he met the love of his life and tied the knot with her last year. Max gave a touching tribute to the couple at the ceremony, and now both his and Nev's wife get involved with the latest seasons of Catfish. A true match made in heaven.

Hate each other: Judi Jackson And Priscilla Mennella

One of the most controversial reality shows of our time came in the form of Bad Girls Club. Putting a number of young women who had their issues, whether it be anger management or something else entirely, into a single house and seeing what would happen could only end in one way.

They would throw fists, fight and rip each other's hair out. Playing into the stereotype that a group of females cannot live harmoniously, one of the series' biggest fights came in season 7.

Cast Judi Jackson and Priscilla Mennella kicked things into another gear, when Judi decided to serve Priscilla "breakfast in bed." Dumping cereal and milk over her co-star, Priscilla refused to hold back, throwing punches and busting Judi's lip. It was a hard scene to watch, but an utterly compelling one all the same.

Best friends: Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt

They may have found themselves in the role of villains during their time on The Hills and after, but the love between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is still something that's hugely infectious.

Consistently propping one another up when they return to the spotlight and on their various social media s, the bond shared by Heidi and Spencer is something that a lot of couples look up to. It only strengthened during their time together on two seasons of Celebrity Big Brother UK, where they spent 24-hours-a-day in one another's company.

Heidi and Spencer eventually got married on April 25, 2009 and last year became parents to a baby boy. Calling the youngster Gunner, the future seems bright for this pair and their newfound family. We're sure they'll go the distance.

Hate each other: Sharon Osbourne And Dannii Minogue

When it comes to singing reality show competitions, there's often more of a rivalry between the judges and mentors behind-the-scenes rather than the performers battling it out for the grand prize.

This was certainly the case for Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue during their time working together on the British version of The X Factor, though we wouldn't learn the full extent of it until the release of Dannii's book.

Chronicling her time on the show, Dannii alleged that whilst Sharon had been a hero of hers for a long time, that all changed on the night of her first live X Factor show.

Also celebrating her birthday, Dannii says she was left in tears when Sharon stormed into her dressing room, accusing her of playing games. Their relationship has been fractured ever since.

Best friends: Bethenny Frankel And Fredrik Eklund

Another trip to the world of Bravo's The Real Housewives here, with businesswoman Bethenny Frankel who made a name for herself both on The Real Housewives of New York and with her self-made brand, Skinnygirl.

Also a part of the Bravo family, Fredrik Eklund is known for starring on Million Dollar Listing New York, and both he and Bethenny have been seen forging a friendship since they've been working together in the world of real estate.

They've now taken their friendship to the next level, starring in their own spin-off show aptly titled Bethenny & Fredrik. Forging a relationship as business partners, they'll have to cope with one another's quirks and differences if they're to continue being such a success. We think their partnership is one that will stand the test of time.
