We did not jump from snes to ps1 what kind of idiots think we did that ?

We had snes megadrive era.

Then you get interim which was mega cd and 32 X yes it was megadrive req but both amped the original console thru the roof.

Then we got the Sega Saturn era and so on.

So why you jumped from snes right to ps1 I dont know.

Yes the ps1 came out during the samish time but not for a few yrs.

In fact it's bc of the Saturn Sony released a console.

Before the ps1 we had the cd interactive console and we had the 3DO.

after those only then did we get the ps1 so like i said you missed an entire generation of consoles out.

This is as bad as a post i read saying the snes was 16 bit like the megadrive... ermmm NO

it was 24bit not 16 thats why sega made the 32x and the megacd addons personally.i see them as 2 different consoles bc of the power increases.

We only got the 32 x bc of sonic and knuckles anyway. Sega realised they could use a socket system upgrade bc of the sonic 3 and knuckles tech.

Anyway I digress... ppl.may argue the ps1 Saturn 3do cd interactive are the same gen but they're really not.

The ps1 didn't release for a long time after the other consoles and it was designed to put Sega out of the game buisness which it did.

until sega started developing fir other machines, they'd all but vanished.

So next time do some research into the actual history of consoles yh ? Snes to ps1 was not how it went not even close.
