The Muppets are iconic characters who had have tons of movies throughout the years, and their 2011 adventure is one of the strongest for Kermit and his gang. The movie saw The Muppets have to work together to try and save their theatre and it brought some great character work as well.

The show sees lots of different rounds take place to determine the smartest of the bunch, and Neil works as the perfect host for this show. He has a great personality which makes the show funny as he engages with the contestants.

Musical theatre and live performances have always played a big part in Neil Patrick Harris' career. He's been in a variety of Broadway productions and hosted the Tony Awards on multiple occasions and in 2011 he took on the lead role in the show, Company.

This particular version saw the New York Philharmonic in and the performance was broadcasted, allowing people to see just how great this fantastic musical is.

Gone Girl - 8.1 (2014)

Neil Patrick Harris took on the role of Desi Collings in Gone Girl, which is an absolutely fantastic mystery thriller. It's a very different type of role for him with how serious this movie is, as Desi is obsessed with the lead character, Amy, and he ends up helping her when she is on the run trying to convince the world she is dead.

With things not going to plan on her time away, Amy ends up back with Desi and things take a big turn with Amy actually killing Desi in a brutal fashion. Neil plays the role incredibly well striking the perfect balance of being charming while also slightly creepy.
