The Muppets - 7.1 (2011)
The Muppets are iconic characters who had have tons of movies throughout the years, and their 2011 adventure is one of the strongest for Kermit and his gang. The movie saw The Muppets have to work together to try and save their theatre and it brought some great character work as well.
The film had many great human characters too with Jason Seagal and Amy Adams taking up the lead roles in that department. However, other great actors such as Jim Parsons, Jack Black and Neil Patrick Harris also popped up in cameo appearances.
Genius Junior - 7.5 (2018-)
Genius Junior is Neil Patrick Harris' newest project and sees him as the host of a game show. The participants are all children as some of America's smartest kids are brought out with the world being able to see just how smart they are.
The show sees lots of different rounds take place to determine the smartest of the bunch, and Neil works as the perfect host for this show. He has a great personality which makes the show funny as he engages with the contestants.
The Penguins Of Madagascar - 7.6 (2008-2015)
The Madagascar movie franchise proved to be incredibly popular and from those movies, The Penguins of Madagascar television series was spawned. Following the popular ing characters on a variety of adventures, the show proved to be a real hit with younger audiences.
Neil Patrick Harris lent his voice to the show for the character, Dr. Blowhole, who is actually Skipper's sworn enemy. The character is a bottlenose dolphin and is a major supervillain on the show.
Company - 7.7 (2011)
Musical theatre and live performances have always played a big part in Neil Patrick Harris' career. He's been in a variety of Broadway productions and hosted the Tony Awards on multiple occasions and in 2011 he took on the lead role in the show, Company.
This particular version saw the New York Philharmonic in and the performance was broadcasted, allowing people to see just how great this fantastic musical is.
Robot Chicken - 7.7 (2009-2012)
Robot Chicken was an incredibly creative television series, utilizing stop motion with comedy sketches proved to be an excellent decision. Seth Green was the mastermind behind the show and it was Green himself who voiced the vast majority of the characters.
However, over the years with the show proving to be a major hit, lots of different actors came in to add their voices to the series, with Neil Patrick Harris being one of them. He was part of three episodes of the show where he voiced a variety of characters.
A Series Of Unfortunate Events - 7.9 (2017-2019)
A Series of Unfortunate Events has proven to be an incredibly popular series on Netflix, which follows three children who are dealing with the death of their parents. There's plenty of interesting family secrets that come to light in the aftermath as they try to pick up their lives.
The only issue is, they have to deal with Neil Patrick Harris' character, Count Olaf who is trying to get their inheritance. He stops at nothing to get it either, constantly changing up his look to try and fool the children in what is a very creative performance from Neil.
American Horror Story: Freak Show - 8.0 (2015)
Neil Patrick Harris popped in for two episodes ofFreak Show always tends to come up in a more positive light than some of the others.
His character Chested Creb is a perfect role for him as he's a magician, which is a major ion of Neil's in real life. His character has a dummy who actually talks to him and convinces him to commit serious crimes, which makes him one of the more dangerous characters and leads him to be arrested.
Gone Girl - 8.1 (2014)
Neil Patrick Harris took on the role of Desi Collings in Gone Girl, which is an absolutely fantastic mystery thriller. It's a very different type of role for him with how serious this movie is, as Desi is obsessed with the lead character, Amy, and he ends up helping her when she is on the run trying to convince the world she is dead.
With things not going to plan on her time away, Amy ends up back with Desi and things take a big turn with Amy actually killing Desi in a brutal fashion. Neil plays the role incredibly well striking the perfect balance of being charming while also slightly creepy.
How I Met Your Mother - 8.3 (2005-2014)
The role that Neil Patrick Harris is most well-known for is playing Barney in Friends, he still managed to be loveable with audiences.
Barney brought all the one-liners, fun magic tricks, and of course, the slap bet. Neil played the role to perfection, bringing all the wit and charm that he has to the character which is one of the main reasons it became so popular with audiences.
Justice League - 8.5 (2001-2004)
Throughout his career, Neil Patrick Harris has provided the voice for a variety of animated characters, and that includes the popular Justice League television show. While Harris was only involved in the series for two episodes, taking on the role of Ray Thompson, he certainly did a great job.
The show came long before the MCU took over the world, but proved that superhero stories being told on television were always going to be popular. The series told great stories and developed the characters well, which is how it got a major rating with IMDb.
