Rogue One: A Star Wars Story underwent significant reshoots that we are only just scratching the surface of nine years later. Based on the directorial credit for the Star Wars movie, Gareth Edwards helmed Rogue One. However, even back when the movie was being produced in 2015, whispers of unrest among the crew were heard. Despite that, Rogue One was released to strong reactions from critics and fans alike, now being regarded as one of the best Star Wars movies under Disney's watch.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps' chances of ing the coveted $1 billion mark have increased after an exciting box office update. I'm a major fan of Marvel's First Family, which includes the Fantastic Four stories in Marvel Comics and the iteration of the team from the 2000s live-action movies that featured Marvel Cinematic Universe star Chris Evans as the Human Torch. In recent years, the MCU has not been able to be as steady at the box office as the franchise was with some of the MCU's best movies towards the end of the Infinity Saga.

The latest installment in one of the biggest action franchises today, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, debuted in theaters last weekend, drumming up a disappointing box office opening for the latest spinoff. The new film makes the Baba Yaga scary again, and has been met with positive reception from both audiences and critics. However, it only scored a $25 million opening and came in below tracking, which was set at about $35 million. Following the growth of the John Wick franchise, this is not a strong start, although the film is not yet doomed.

John Wayne's career in Western movies cemented him as one of the genre's biggest icons, and he cemented his status by ending his Western career on a perfect note in The Shootist. While Wayne's career included acclaimed roles outside of Westerns, like The Quiet Man and The Longest Day, he was best known for his gruff cowboy and lawman characters. Pixar has delivered a major shakeup to Incredibles 3 with an announcement that Brad Bird is not directing the third film. The longtime veteran of Pixar made a splash with The Incredibles in 2004 and returned to direct the sequel in 2018, leading to the confirmation that he was developing a third entry to close out the trilogy. Disney and Pixar announced Incredibles 3 at D23 in 2024. This announcement included acknowledging Bird's involvement, which was not specifically detailed, but led to the belief that he would be back to direct the Parr family.
