The incredibly large roster of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is loaded with villains, including Goku Black, a character you can unlock in a couple of different ways. Similar to other characters, the mind of Zamasu in Goku's body can be added to your roster when you simply play the game. However, there are methods to get this fighter faster than you'd expect by skipping the normal grind.

Many characters in DB: Sparking! Zero are unlocked when you spend Zeni in the Shop after you reach a certain Player Level. You need to be Player Level 20 to unlock Goku Black, which will explain why he is not in the Shop when you start playing the game. Complete character Episode Battles and participate in Offline Tournaments to quickly raise your Level to where it needs to be.

Summon The Eternal Dragon Of All Universes

There are two different ways to unlock Goku Black, either by:

• Summoning Super Shenron and Wishing For More Characters
• Purchasing Him From The Shop For 120,000 Zeni

Once again, you have to be Player Level 20 for Goku Black to appear in the Shop, but this is a high level that may take some time to reach. The quickest method is to summon Super Shenron by collecting all seven of the Super Dragon Balls found through various missions. Thankfully, there is one mission that gives you all the Super Dragon Balls at once.

Normal Dragon Balls can summon Shenron from Earth, whose wishes include a way to gain a ton of Zeni at once. Follow the requests of Zen-Oh and Whis to earn regular Dragon Balls if you want to work toward buying revealed characters in DB: Sparking! Zero from the Shop.

Completing all of Goku's Saga Episode Battles gives you all the Super Dragon Balls, allowing you to summon Super Shenron. The "Come Forth" menu allows you to call upon the divine creature of the cosmos that once helped Zamasu steal Goku's body. The origin of Goku Black is tied to Super Shenron, so it makes sense that the dragon could be responsible for making the false Saiyan appear on your roster.

Those who purchase the Deluxe edition of DB: Sparking! Zero gain access to a free wish from Super Shenron right away. Once you have the dragon summoned, ask for "More Characters" from the wish options. Here, Super Shenron will ask you to choose between unlocking Goku Black or Fused Zamasu, the two main villains from the Goku Black arc of Dragon Ball Super.

Whichever character you pick, you'll need to unlock the other by spending Zeni or summoning Super Shenron again. If you pick Fused Zamasu, you can still unlock Goku Black in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero by gaining the Super Dragon Balls again when you complete optional sub-battles in different fighters' Episode Battles in the story.
